I had this cat for 8 years so very familiar w/ vomiting; Dr. treated me as if I didn't know anything about her or cats in general. Wanted to start with expensive blood test that was basically only to assess blood nutrients (RBCs). I consented but then they came back &told me she was 'difficult' so they couldn't get enough blood from her, but still wanted me to pay for analyzing the blood they did get, but they didn't even do the MAIN REASON for taking blood in the 1st place. She's a 10-lb cat! Total incompetence. Turned out she had advanced cancer but didn't learn that from them as I'll NEVER go back! W/ another cat, basically told me cat was being finicky because refused to eat and it was just before closing time. Turned out that cat ALSO had cancer &I paid close to $3k for emergency surgery &then autopsy.

Good as expected

They took care of my dog for 15 years and they are absolutely marvelous. She was 14 years and 4 months old and they had been keeping her alive for about 3 years, so I really can?t complain. We had her cremated, it broke my heart. She was my little baby.?They were just very, very good. The owner used to work there, she moved up and bought the practice when the owner died. He was a vet as well. She has a Yorkie and she was so sweet to my dog.

They are under new ownership..I am disabled and only living on Social Security (SSI) and wouldn't have the money for another day I told them I could pay them then and  they said "NO".Not until I could pay BEFORE services were rendered.  I paid the office call of $45.00. I had to bring my sick cat home and she died the next morning because they wouldn't treat her.  They felt 'I would stiff' them, which I wouldn't have done.
They recently changed owners.  We had gone there for over 40 years, but the previous owner (Dr. Stuart Thrush) passed away and he would allow long-term clients to charge their bills if unable to pat right then. The new owner will NOT work with the clients!! He was a wonderful, knowledgeable vet and man.  New owners Jennifer Stuhler-Raphael, DVM and her husband (name unknown) (One of the vets) showed NO compassion for my pet nor I.
In an effort to be totally up front, I owed the previous owner money due to an extended hospital stay my dog had to have which ran my bill up to nearly $2,000.00.  I was unable to pay it as I didn't have a job at the time.  He knew that and still agreed to treat my dog who is now fine. I am making payments on it now as I can.  I would NEVER try to get out of paying a bill for my beloved pets that I owe!!!!!  I feel they killed my cat, ny refusing to treat her and allowing me to pay on the 1srt when I had the money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I detest writing this negative review as that Animal Hospital was the only one I HAD known and trusted my entire adult life, but tthat was under previous ownership,, but no more. I will not frequent hem again under the recent circumstances.  The have a very good vet on staff and their groomer Erin is very good, too.

First thing we noticed the office was very clean and had no animal smell.
Doctor took her time with us and was very through(sp).

Our cat had had surgery 2 days previous to my contact with Waverly Animal Hospital. We had plans to spend a long weekend out of town. We needed a place that could administer medication, keep a close eye on our cat, and call us if she took a turn for the worse.
They require your cat to have current vaccinations (rabies, distemper, and a fecal within the last year), but that's basically it.
When I got there, I spent 20 minutes meeting with Dr. Johns. She wanted to make sure my cat was stable, go over her post-surgery discharge papers, and know what was expected/necessary for my cat to get proper care. Dr Johns and the entirety of the administrative staff were prompt, friendly and thorough.
It was REALLY nice to find a place that had provisions for feline boarding...not just a dog kennel that dabbled in cats.
The cost for boarding was $18/day plus $2 for each time medication was administered.
I was completely blown away by the entire experience. A + +.

They're good with cats. They have a building separate for cats and dogs so they don't have to mixed. The staff is friendly and professional and courteous. If I have an issue, they'll listen to it. Flexible. Reasonable prices. They've just always been very helpful.

Great service, excellent response time when you call for appointments or concerns. Good reminders via mail, email and phone for vaccination updates. The care is very thorough and compassionate and from the DVMs and vet techs on staff. Highly recommend.

They turned out to be excellent. We have used them a number of times. We use them mostly for shots and just general care. I would say that their prices are reasonable. Everything was standard and very good. Everything is very professional.

We have been going to them since 1965. They gave extra service for my cats. Their service was good. They always seemed to know what is wrong with your animals so they take them in. If they do not know, they find out. If they cannot find out, they refer you out to other area.

They are convenient, accessible, and their available times are good.

We love them! All of the staff are very caring and friendly. There are people there on premises all through the night for boarding. The approximate cost listed is to groom Schneuzer who weighs 150 lbs. and the Shitzu weighs 12 lbs. We will definitely continue to use them for future care. We would definitely recommend them to other people.

My dog hated this place; no outdoor runs; they charge for everything including if they have to give the pet a pill (In my case, I had a dog who was older and needed 2 pills daily, THAT THEY PRESCRIBED, and I was charged an x-Tara $10.00 per day, so suddenly the daily rate went up to and 40.00.) Basically, all dogs are put into a crate and kept there until they are taken out for a bathroom walk twice daily. Want your pet to be walk more than twice daily? If so, count on an x-Tara $5.00 fee per walk. So now my final daily rate was $50.00 per day. AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!

They are very gentle and loving people who really seem to care about the animals they take care of and groom.
