Rick did a variety of things around the house. He is very reliable and not only told me clearly what he could do and could not do, but he showed up on the day and time he committed to. I really enjoyed working with Rick and his reliability really impressed me.

My garage door would not go up or down. My son and I had worked with it trying to get it to catch to the chain but had little luck. I called this handyman and he came promptly. He unscrewed the bottom of the garage door opener three times and it began to work. I was happy. I asked him how much it was going to cost and he said that he charged $35 per hour. I told him that he had only been at my home for five minutes so would he come take a look at a facet that was running slow. He did. After removing the top and cleaning it out he replaced it. The water is barely running now. He then looked under my sink and said that I didn't have any water pressure and probably needed to replace my entire faucet. He then went on to say that for him to put in the new faucet it was cost me a additional $85 per hour. Yes, I did ask him to look at the facet. If he couldn't fix it, then just say so. I would have rather the pressure stay somewhat low than none at all. This particular facet is in my kitchen and it is now very annoying to me. I cannot cook, or the dishes without water. This simple act on his part has caused me unnesscesary stress. I'm sorry, but I would think twice before using this contractor.

"I did come out to your house on a call that you wanted your garage door fixed. I indicated that my rate was a minimum of $35/hour. Because it took five minutes you asked me to look at your faucet since you hardly had any water pressure. I checked to see if there was a washer and noticed there was not. I indicated to you that you were probably going to need a new faucet and that I could install a new faucet for $85 at most. I also made it a point to tell you that I was giving you a high quote on the installation of a new faucet. You told me you were going to check to see if that particular faucet was still under warranty and that you would call me back. I had no way of knowing your faucet was going to get worse and I received no return call to replace a broken faucet. I am still prepared to install a new faucet if you would like but I did indicate that this problem was due to a faulty faucet and could not be fixed unless you got a new one. But I did not hear back from you."
