About us

Owner operated with my son as primary worker along with myself. I can control quality of work and competency of workers in clients homes while working this way. Financially I ask for a percentage of downpayment,with balance upon completion allowing my client to have a controlling factor in this process.

Bruce Smaltz is a great guy. He is very friendly, very easy to work with. He came over a few times to our house and helped direct away from cosmetic issues toward important things (such as pipes being ready to burst). He gave us a verbal quote... went to work... and found out that we had a huge communication error. He had not realized how much of the house needed new pipes... Long story short, the orginal quote was 1/3 the final cost. Bruce felt really bad about the misshap and reduced the end total by 10% and told us we could pay the final half when we got the money (I had told him I'd have the money in 6 months, one lump sum). Bruce felt really bad that he had not communicated that the project was bigger then he originally thought. I felt bad that we couldn't pay him all he was owed right up front. I reccomend Bruce for any future work you need, but I would suggest you get a written estimate up front.
