The technician arrived when they said they would.  Inspected the drain line to be cleaned. When right to work and got the drain running free again.
The tecnician was very frendly and professional.
When he job was completed the technician cleaned up very well.
I would definitely recommend them for doing this type of work.

Very prompt and responsive service.   The technician was very friendly and professional, responded to questions, and offered suggestions such as the water jetting which I my may consider as a longer term preventative maintenance service next fall (although the price quoted of $500 is excessive).   The main line auger was used and it adequately punched through the roots that were clogging the line.   The reason I gave the service quality a B, as opposed to an A, is that the auger still left a fair amount of roots at the top of the line even though the flow was restored.   I have had other cleanouts performed (by this company) that removed the roots to a greater degree.  Hopefully, the Root-X will cause the remaining root ends to thin out and retreat.  Overall, I am happy with the service and would use this company again.

We tried to schedule an appointment through the online service, which we did not realize is not used on the weekend.  We called the office a couple of hours later and they were able to send a technician out the same evening.  Our situation was relatively urgent (lacking the use of the kitchen sink, and also expecting company the next day), so we really appreciated their responsiveness. We were impressed with the technician?s thoroughness in making sure the pipe was fully cleared, cleaning up, and even offering tips for keeping the drain clear in the future.  The service call was not cheap, but we ended up feeling that it was worth the price.  We would recommend Roto-Rooter to others in our situation.

Plumber Ron was right on time, did a fine job--an obviously intelligent and good-humored guy who cares about the quality of his work, even when it meant going up on the roof to cable a completely clogged drain via the roof vent.
We've used Roto-Rooter before to replace our old tile sewer line to the street with new plastic and also were pleased with their work then.

Roger (plumber) came to our house on Wednesday to replace the leaky tub faucet and put our tub fixtures up to code. He was very professional, extremely friendly and worked hard. It wasn't easy, because access to the tub plumbing is through the kitchen cabinets. He worked hard! The final result is perfect. The faucet/plate/shower head installed look wonderful and we have no more leaks. My cat is quite upset...he loved to lick the water from the leaking faucet and now there's none!

Roger (technician) came to the house and gave me a price first on fixing an old leaky bathroom faucet. We agreed on a price and he installed the new faucet. Love it. Has a one-year warranty so if any issues occur, they will come back to fix. Very professional and friendly plumber sent.

They came out right away and snaked out my sewer drain. They came out the next day to jet clean clean it with a camera. They did a very good job and I was very happy with them. I was happy with what I got for the price I paid. I didn't comparison shop because of the situation, but it was worth it.

They showed up 4 hours after original appointment time. They charged 350$ to install a 10$ valve, change the water heater water, and relight the pilot light. They were professional but very expensive.

My drains had been gurgling for a few days and we had slow drainage in the basement shower. On a Sunday, water finally backed up into my basement and I knew we had a problem that was beyond Drain-O. I called Roto-Rooter. Just simply selected them from the yellow pages based on the ad that said rates were the same whether it was day, night, weekends, or holidays. From the time I called until the arrival of the tech was less than 3 hours. At arrival, he assessed the situation, located the most practical access point for the drain and got to work. Within the next 45 minutes to an hour, my problem was solved and the tech was on his way to the next call. Considering is was a Sunday night, this guy was the nicest, most pleasant person! I couldn't have asked for better.

They were very pleasant to work with. They were accurate with their estimate and it cost what they had told me. They explained everything to me so I could understand it. They did a good job and I was happy with the work.

It took nearly two weeks to schedule and do the work. The work involved replacing part of the driveway. Within 7 months the yard had to be dug up again to replace faulty work. While Guthrie did not charge for this, they also refused to provide any re-landscaping (which was an extra cost when the work was originally done). Within a few months, the new concrete driveway began to sink. The Guthrie representative refused to even discuss the issue and called it an "Act of God." All the new concrete in now sunken and cracked and must be replaced. The original job was done poorly. The cost was extremely high. The company refused to stand behind its work.

Not good. I was quoted a price over the phone. When a young guy showed up, he quoted a price of $7 more. Since sewage was coming up I still accepted their price. The young guy didn't know what a main sewer drain looked like and walked over to my main water valve. I directed him back to my sewer drain. He got some roots out and called it good. He said I needed a new sewer cap so I bought one. His work lasted 7 days. Previously when I got my sewer cleaned of tree roots it would last a year or more. On the 7th day I called and asked them to come back over since they didn't do a thorough job. I was told that it would cost me ANOTHER $100. I then called another company who cleaned out my drain thoroughly. I made a complaint with the Attorney General's Office to get a prorated reimbursement. The AG office contacted Guthrie's who ignored their request. I would not recommend Guthrie's Plumbing or whatever they call themselves.

They were very professional and friendly. They came out quickly and they had to come back because the outside faucet was leaking. They were good about coming back. They answered all of my questions. I felt like the price was fair.

It went well. He was very professional and did a good job. Checked a couple of other small things to fill up the hour. Made a few adjustments and gave me advice. I was satisfied, I felt it was expensive but I had nothing to compare it to. I asked for an estimate for another job that seemed excessively high, so now I'm looking around.

Our clothes washer used to send the discharge water from the washer directly into the utility tub and under the house. Because of this, we got backup pretty regularly. Guthrie's Plumbing came out and gave us a quote, and also told us where to buy the materials far cheaper than they could provide them. They spent the day at the house and did all of the work. The cast iron water pipe crumbled when they tried to connect the discharge line from the washer and they replaced the pipe with PVC. We had one slight problem with the water heater leaking after they left. They returned promptly the next day and fixed the problem.
