their products were cold - I was told they were fresh??? - and tasteless

We had a custom-made raspberry chocolate wedding cake (it was our 2nd marriage for both, groom and bride). We had an initial appointment in which we got the chance to try different flavor for the cake and the filling, and try different combination of flavors. We settled for the raspberry/chocolate filling on a chocolate cake, with a chocolate and light blue dots decoration. We bought our own top piece (a white chocolate seashell) because we didn't like the classic top pieces, we wanted something different and we are ocean lovers, so we went for the seashell (see picture). We picked up the cake to avoid the delivery charge. Any additional decoration would have also incurred in an additional charge. They charge for almost everything that falls besides the "basic" cake, which is probably what most bakeries do especially when it comes to wedding cakes. This was a "small" cake (35 servings). The cake was beautiful and the flavor was outstanding: delicious, moist, the right amount of everything and everyone praised our selection. They also have nice pastries (salty and sweet).
