Over 20 years ago (1988) I asked a fellow employee if they knew any financial advisors and they referred me to Frank. I called his office and set the appointment. He even offered to come to my home during the evening to meet with my spouse and I to discuss my financial issues/concerns & goals. Our top goal was to get out of debt (credit cards, car loans, personal loans, etc.) It did not take long to see that he knew his stuff and that he was a professional that was practical and easy to understand. He collected my financial information (It was a bit odd at first because I was not accustomed to letting anyone see our personal financial data.. it was almost like getting a financial physical from a new doctor). We discussed several ideas for helping us reduce our expenses. At our second meeting we went to his office to review our information that he collected as a double check and to review our options. He had it all neatly spelled out in an easy to read and understand, one page spreadsheet layout where we could see our entire financial picture on one sheet of paper (that was an eye opener). This made it easy to see the impact of applying each of the financial options to our situation (This was so cool, almost like a financial video-game for numbers nerds like me). We made several decisions and Frank took care of all of the paper work which really helped make it all much easier. We have met with Frank once or twice each year to review our progress, taxes, etc. and update our future plans as changes impact them or we change our mind. Since our first meeting, Frank has been a great financial advisor with a no pressure, unbiased approach to products and services that really meet our objectives. I have never felt pressured or influenced to do what he recommends in any way. We have saved thousands of dollars over the years and have been debt free for over 15 years. Additionally, we have increased our financial position, have a great credit rating and am looking forward to retirement knowing exactly what we need to achieve it. I recommend Frank to anyone who asks about financial planning.
