Paxton Countertops & Showers

Buyer beware...we built a house and loved all of the contractors except Paxton. They made mistakes that ended up costing us thousands of dollars! They had to install our countertops twice. Installation does not look professional, very sloppy and mistake on top of mistake. Do not waste your money like we did. I DO NOT recommend this company.

Although the granite is beautiful, they damaged my home throughout and due to a water leak, my kitchen floor and basement suffered major damage in excess of $10,000.   Paxton refused to accept responsibility.   Beware!   These people talk a good game, but the workmanship is unprofessional and their sense of customer care is nonexistent.   I regret the decision to have used Paxton's every day!

They were really good. They did the work, and everything was good. The interaction was good, and I would go back to them. The countertops turned out really nice, and they are working out good, no problems at all.

her material very well.
The material is not granite but I won't have to use a special product on it!

VERY nice people to work with.
It took me a long time to decide on what I wanted and they were patient throughout,. The biggest advantage I found using Paxton: They fabricate the countertops themselves in Grand Ledge. All the other counter top places i looked at, used out of town fabricators. I did have to go to Novi to select the granite at Dwyer but this supplier has a huge selection of stone and they are terrific there as well.
Because Paxton is a local fabricator, I was able to ask for a specific cut for the sink that was different than others. Also, important to me: I was able to go to Paxton’s fabricating site in grand Ledge and actually place the templates on the slabs to get the patterns I wanted in specific areas.
They were all good to work with, from the showroom staff to the installers.
Paxton was recommended by a friend to me who was happy with his purchase too.

We had a great experience with Paxton and love our new countertops. The seams are perfectly hidden and it looks fantastic.

I had a new countertop installed by Paxton Countertops and showers. I was very pleased with the service as well as the product;. They were very professional at the store and on the job. When they came out to measure, do the platelet and tear out and install they were always on time. They cleaned up after they were done and made sure you were happy with the job. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone else that is interested in a new countertop or shower. If I ever need to have anything else like this done I would call them.

It was great working with Paxtons. They allowed me to take numerous samples home for viewing, even had a larger sample cut and polished so I could get a better idea of what the pattern would look like in a larger area. Initially I was going to have a stainless steel sink but after seeing what an integrated sink would be like, I decided to go with that. Our original lunch counter top did not have adequate leg room for adults and we wanted it wider, but not so much as to need a supporting leg. A seam was necessary on the lunch counter top, but it is so well done as to be barely visible. We are very, very happy with our beautiful lunch counter, counter tops and sink.

They were fast, the measured the space and returned at a later date to install. They were fast and courteous. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Steve was hired by my contractor to provide the counters for my kitchen. From the estimate, through the installation his company was professional and easy to deal with. The template process he used meant the counter was built to fit perfectly. The installation itself took about an hour. The work is spectacular and I could not be more pleased.

Our new countertop is beautiful! The installation is flawless, the fit and finish is clean and professional. We were also very pleased with the service side of the project, from the personal attention and time spent designing the project, including the timely communications, to the friendly professional installation, right down to the meeting of a very important deadline. Thanks Paxton, it’s refreshing to know there are still quality local businesses out there that do the right thing for their customers.
