Mohre Soft Water

Great! I visited Mohre intending to buy a new softener and add an iron filter to the system because toilets and basins got orange stains a week or two after cleaning. After testing my water, Mr. Mohre advised that I did not need an iron filter. The new softener was installed quickly and expertly the day after I bought it, and the old one was hauled away. Mr. Mohre was right: after a month there is no staining of fixtures. The new softener exceeds expectations!

Excellent. Came on time, did work quickly, answered follow-up phone call promptly with information. Cleaned up inadvertent mess. Gave information on maintenance procedures.

Better prices, no pressure salesmanship. No scare tactics like some of the other guys tried to use. Butch treated us right.

He checked our water and explained the softener was fine and that we should 'run it til it breaks and then get a new one' but there was nothing wrong with it and it didn't need fixing or replacing. When we told him we were sure it was broken because we'd been having water smelling bad issues, he immediately looked at our hot water heater and did a few things and determined the problem was it need badly to be flushed and to have its anode rod replaced. He explained to me exactly how to do it and I later did do it myself and it solved the problem. He also explained our hot water heater would probably in the next year or two develop a leak since the inside was probably corroded a lot from us not changing the rod and that we should just wait until that time and then replace it. I have saved his bill so I can call him when the day comes that I need either a new heater or softener because I have found a good plumber.

They were very responsive. I was able to get hold of them immediately and they were out within a day or two to look at my situation and provide a quote. when I committed to do the work they were out within a few days to actually do the install. Everything went well and they had good follow up. I was happy with the transaction.

Installer arrived at the time he said he would. Installed the system, removed the old system and answered all our questions.

Excellent and immediate service! A siding contractor back over our well pipe and by the time we realized damage was done our water softener was destroyed. Mohre came out within hours of being called and after diagnosing the problem came back later that day and replaced the water softener. The installer was friendly, knowledgeable and professional.
