LD CLARK EXCAVATING COMPANY

For this project the County "designs" the system and includes the design on the permit. The first morning that LD Clark arrived they realized that the design called for the system to exit the house in a different direction than the existing system. This required new plumbing inside the house to stub a new pipe out to where LD Clark could hook on to it to do their work. I requested, that they hire a plumbing subcontractor to do this work and they did not want to. After I made all arrangements for the plumbing to be done they returned to work. LD Clark then buried the entire drain field/mound area without notifying the County. A County inspection of all of the exposed piping was required per the permit. When the County inspector did arrive later we were notified that LD Clark was not certified to install a sanitary system in this county. Although the foreman and crew that actually did the work did a good job and were friendly, the management was unnecessarily difficult to communicate with and evasive. There is no excuse for LD Clark to have bid on this work while not even being certified to do it.
