The handles came off a cross body wallet that I use all the time. They did a solid repair on it.

They did an excellent job @ sewing the new straps - however they did not secure them TO the PURSE. I stated that the new straps were sewn well, but would very soon be falling off from the purse. The woman said I was right - the straps would very soon be falling off from the purse. She told me the request was only for putting on new straps and that is what was done. I wasn't aware it was my responsibility to make any additional requests in order for the straps to be secured and allow me to use the purse. VERY DECEIVING. She was very short, curt and unprofessional.

I had a beautiful belt that I used for dressy occasions. While visiting my daughter in Germany it broke and the repair place there couldn't fix it. When I returned to the states I tried John's Shoe Repair. Not only did they fix it they completely remade the belt better than new. The staff put their heads together with me to brainstorm a way to fix it and it turned out great! I will definitely be bringing any future repairs to them.

Two pieces of Samsonite luggage had a zipper which had been damaged by flight handliers. John's Repair in Lansing did an exellent job in repairing both pieces. One of the pieces required the repair of a 3 inch fabric tear. The tear was neatly repaired. The cost was reasonable, the luggage was ready on the promised date and the staff was consistently friendly and helpful. Overall, I was very pleased with the service. Even though I live 45 minutes away from John's Shoe Repair, I will not hesitate to use there service should I ever need luggage repair in the future.

I dropped my 2 items off and they were ready when I went back. Was delayed a few days so not sure if they were and quot;doneand quot; when they said they would but were ready when I went back (about 10 days later). I was very happy with their service-it is an old fashion shoe, leather repair place and nice not to have to throw out shoes due to worn soles. Its just their hours are too short on Sat as that is the day I do such errands (they close at 1 on Sat) and in the week open till 6 I think.

Highly efficient: fast service, prompt outcome, quality repair and very friendly all around. Extremely punctual. I have left several shoes to repair here for the last 4 years and they have always been helpful, fast, and friendly while very professional. I will use their services every time I must repair any shoe, handbag or luggage.

My shoes look beautiful. I dropped them off on Thursday and they were ready on Saturday! Fast, convenient, friendly and affordable. From now on I will bring all of my shoes there when I buy them to get them waterproofed and resoled if necessary!!

I go to John's whenever my shoes need any kind of cleaning or repair, or if I need any leather or canvas item repaired. His prices are always reasonably cheap and his work is reliably good. When I drop the items off, I am told right then when I may pick them up, and they are always ready on time. John's is also open Saturday mornings.
