Jewelry Sales/Design/Repair
My daughter's fiance went to them and confronted them about their "mistake", which they admitted during his recording of their conversation, which is available, as well as having lied about their culpability and return policies, but refused to take it back for a refund, and instead wanted to charge an additional $200 for the better ring, stating that it was no longer on sale.
They contacted the consumer affairs department at the corporate offices on several occasions but were instead directed back to the store to handle the complaint. The corporation operates 9 different jewelry chains and admitted that JB Robinson is the "economy" chain among their various options in jewelry retailers. My daughter and her fiance are now left with considering a legal option but any mention of that has brought immediate hang-up from the retailer and their corporation.
