You can purchase a generator from anyone and the sale process generally goes well. The test is when you need advice or service after the sale and that is why F D Hayes Electric has earned all of my business. Without fail they have gone above and beyond my expectations. Pat Sprunger and his crews are polite, knowledgeable, thorough and professional. Everyone inside the office that I have spoken with have always had a great attitude and seem to genuinely care for their customers. My generator installation 5 years ago was rather difficult and they got the job done on time and provided some necessary upgrades to my existing service panel without extra charge. Since then, they have always responded promptly to both routine service and emergency requests. I know the company offers many more services than just generator sales and service. Although I have not needed to utilize their other departments yet, I will think of them first when the need arises based on their exemplary past performance when the chips were down. They are hands down the best value for your money!

Work was done professionally, showed up promptly at 7:30 a.m.  We needed to place one light fixture higher than the old one, because of the larger mirror I purchased.  It was handled with expertise, and I am glad I did not attempt it.  The electrician was friendly, and also cleaned up the mess, and hauled away the old fixtures.I have had F.D. Hayes do several other jobs for me over the years, and they have always done great work.

Stay clear, stay away, find someone else, you have been warned, these electricians make $85 a hour and then the company nickel and dime you for everything. I just had a wall oven installed and because the electrician didn't bring the right cable/cord/wire they charged me to have someone else from the company to bring it out ($40), What a joke!!!!! If you want to get ripped off go with FDHayes. If you want to pay a reasonable price without all the Nickel and dime stuff go anywhere but here. I had two outlets and my service upgrade last year and it didn't take 5 hours so why should it take 5 hours to install one outlet.

Went great. Arrived on time. Was very nice and professional. Did a great job. He allowed me to add a couple things that I had not scheduled for, but he stayed late and finished everything. I can't remember what they charged but I remember it was very fair!

I installed a 17KW Generac generator at our home. It would not hold a charge in the battery. I call FD Hayes as the local Generac dealer. The repairman came and did not listen to me that there was sparking under the generator motor. He replaced the motherboard and the problem continued. They charged me a service call even though the generator was under warranty. They never fixed the generator however after several other service calls, other dealers, one repairman actually listened to me when I said there was sparking under the motor. He looked and found a loose grounding strap, from the factory,and he fixed it. It was no small fix as the motor had to come out but he fixed it. FD Hayes did not listen, charged for a warranty service call and never fixed a simple problem.

they were very helpful from beginning to the end of the new home project ....they offered many valuable design suggestions and were a much appreciated second set of eyes on the project looking out for me....
