Substitued less skilled workers for the promised skilled workers. The workers did not have the skills or tools to do the job. Some of the drywall was installed improperly and had to be torn out. Walls that were not to be drywalled were mudded. The homeowners had to remove the mudding that was on places that it shouldn't be because the workers did not do that work when it was pointed out. The mirror on a new medicine cabinet was chipped beyond repair. .A new, custom-made vanity was gouged. When we attempted to contact the contractor, he did not return the calls. He failed to return as promised on the Friday after his workers did all of the damage on Tuesday. Although we were fortunate not to have paid him anything at the outset, he cost us a considerable amount of time and money in the end. We had to find a new contractor to complete the job, etc.
