Darold's Small Engine

It went fine. I wanted to change my other review, because when I first got home the mower didn't work, but after it sat for a little while it started up again. Seems to be a good company.

Said they rebuilt the carborator.  I went home that evening and it was bad weather for a few weeks, could not mow. I only have a Sunday to mow.   Finally got a break two weeks later.  Primed it, pulled and nothing. Tried again. Started to kick in.  Primed and pulled a few more times.  After 20 minutes still nothing.  Put it back in garage. 

Tried again the following Sunday.  Same problem.

Called Darolds', no answering machine.  Forgot to call from work.  Too late when I get home.  Weather was cold, rainey and wet.  Waited, another break for the weekend.  Tried it again.  Nothing worked. Neighbor came over to help.  He could not figure it out or get it started either.   

Sunday, primed and pulled, got it started but immediately quit.  It seems to use the primed gas and stop running.  Put it away for another time.  Now November, called and told them what was happening (nothing) and needed them to look at what they did and fix it so it would run.

This mower is a Toro, and it always started with 3x prime and one pull.  ALWAYS.  Now it won't start.  If it does start, it stalls out in 30 seconds or less. 

I will have Darolds arranged to pick up tomorrow morning.  See if they fix it so it runs like it use to.....stay tuned.

I called in the morning, and they said they could pick up my mower the next day - which they did, bright and early. They called around noon to say that they had diagnosed the problem (broken fuel line) and fixed it. It cost me $132, which I thought was a good deal since they came out and got the mower, fixed it and delivered it. They said they could bring it out the very same afternoon since they had another delivery in the area anyway. I was very impressed by how quick and inexpensive it ended up being.
