Custom Tile by Stoney Ball

It didn't ! I paid $99 for a two hour work coupon and didn't use. He came to my house and said there was nothing he could do in two hours and the lowest quote was $1,000.. I give him credit for showing up on time.

Our experience with Stoney has been outstanding. He and his assistant were always very courteous & professional. His attention to detail is beyond. Stoney was very helpful and patient with us. He helped us to decide on our tile selections by being informative regarding which sizes of tile would work best, he helped us to decide whether or not to have a pebble floor, how to incorporate my pebbles if we weren't doing a pebble floor. He assisted us in choosing the grout colors that would look best with our tile selections. Before he laid any tile, he walked through with both myself and my husband what he thought would look the best in each location. He was patient with our constant questions and a few after-the-fact changes. In our master bath, he installed a tile floor, a tile shower as well as a decorative border around my soaking tub. The border of the tub and the accent in the shower is black pebble. He took the time to remove the pebbles from the mesh that they come on to individually place each pebble so that the spacing would be what I wanted and consistent. In the shower, he also installed a black marble corner bench and two shelves that look beautiful with the black pebbles and accent the grey tiles very nicely. In the shower, he used a square drain to maintain the look of the square tiles on the floor of the shower so that he would not have to cut the tiles in a circle and the visual flow of the tile is consistent. Also in our master bath, he installed the heating system under the ceramic tile with its own thermostat. The tile is perfectly laid and the spacing is completely even throughout the entire bathroom. In our living room, he installed glass tile around the fireplace and for the hearth. He did an amazing job there as well. He finished the edge with a black metal that matched the fireplace to create a one-piece fireplace feel. The height of the tile on the floor is a perfect match-up to what the hardwood flooring that is going to be installed. Upstairs, he used the glass tile as a back-splash in our upstairs bathroom. After he had installed the tile upstairs, I decided I wanted a different look for the border so he patiently removed the installed bull-nose and modified the tiles to replace it with the metal edging that I thought would look better. The tiles are completely straight with no wavering at all, they are perfect. Finally, he installed the tile in our 1/2 bath. The way he laid the tile, was great. Even though it is a very small room, he laid the tile so that there were no visible cuts in the middle of the room. Again, as with the other tiled areas, the tiles are perfectly lined and even. We would highly recommend Stoney to anyone looking to have any tile work done. In fact, we plan on contracting him when we are ready to finish our basement for any tile work that we are going to have down there.
