BEST FRIENDS PET CARE

Did not use this service. I have never hired this kennel. Have no idea why I’m asked to do it with you. And not give a simple notice/Review without feeling in every answer.

Best Friends is an excellent facility for pet boarding. They always take wonderful care of our dog. They provide a nice report card of the dog's activities and are very friendly and caring.

Best Friends did a wonderful job of taking care of my kids! One of my dogs is blind and almost deaf and the other doesn't like to be in a kennel/crate. I selected Best Friends because they had suites for the pets that are more like a "home" than a crate/kennel. Because of Maggie's blindness she doesn't do well with strange dogs and that makes her brother, Gabriel, get protective of her. Best Friends was able to accommodate them so they could both stay in the suite together and have their outside play time together, away from the other dogs.
During the week, the oldest cat has an issue with bladder stones that was controlled (but we never know when it can become a problem) Well that week it was a problem. At the same time, Maggie, had upset tummy issues from being away from home. Best Friends responded right away and tried to get a hold of me. We were at a family reunion in Petosky, MI and cell service was spotty. I have no idea how they did it, but I got back from the beach and had 2 family members find me saying that Best Friends had gotten a hold of them to try to find me to let me know about the two pets' health issues. I was very impressed! They took both animals to my vet, got the meds for them and took care of them.
They also emailed me twice during the week with pictures of all four enjoying themselves at the center. That was wonderful to have that "touch" with them. I try to stay at places where I can take the dogs with me because I don't like to leave them, but when I do have to leave them, I know they will be in good hands at Best Friends!

We have been bringing our dog here since she was a puppy. The people at this facility are amazing. They are always so pleasant and friendly in greeting us. They get excited that Marley is coming in when I book a stay. There are options for play times and we like to do the one on one. I like the facility because the dogs go outside to go to the potty on grass. We used a different facility once that only had stones and I didn't like that aspect. Best friends always provides a little report card on how your dog did during their stay and they send you an email with a photo of the dog while you are away. I will never go anywhere else for boarding services, well other than my vet.
