Door Service
John showed up and recommended a garage door. Indicated we would have the door in approximately 1 week. Gave a $500 deposit, over 1/2 the cost of $788 total. Door did not arrive on time. John indicated he did not have a truck to haul it with. Asked if we had a truck to pick it up with. John finally asks a "friend" to deliver the door. John arrives to install the door and asks my husband if he can help him install the door. Tells my husband his woeful life story and offers to give us $50 off if he helps.
Door installed. Less than a month later door is having problems. John blames this on the door being frozen to the ground. Not something that happened. Tries to fix door, charges us $40.
Door fails 2 months later. John indicates it is because the door needed additional bracket that he did not install. Blames a 60 year old house with "settling". Claims he installed door correctly. Unwilling to fix the problem.
Called another door company to fix his errors. New door company wishes John would get out of businesses giving them all a bad reputation.
