I would highly recommend Red and use him again in the future. Not only is he honest, his pricing is very reasonable (we had work done on our son's car before by Red) he didn't try to make money off of us by doing the work himself.

Diagnosed ignition problem that many others missed. The vehicle now starts consistently.

Red's Auto Srv. has been very beneficial for 4 separate repairs. The owner has been very helpful with suggestions of alternative solutions until I decided to have repairs done. They gave me a day to bring vehicle in for repair and completed that task and called me to inform me that my vehicle was ready for pick up. They were neat with repairs. They are a small Mom/Pop shop so attention to your needs don't get lost in which vehicle is yours and what service was performed on said vehicle. All charges were reasonable for repairs performed..

Chose this garage based on other reviews on AL. They got us in immediately, confirmed a diagnosis within an hour or so, gave us the estimate ahead of time, ordered the part, and had the car ready for us by the end of the day.
Not super expensive....not cheap..... but the service, convenience and professionalism of the transaction made it worthwhile for us. Gave us honest opinion on some other car issues and seemed genuine. Would definitely go back.

This place has become our repair shop we call them first when we need work done and they take care of us. Work done right the first time. Would recommend them to anyone!

Initially I thought I had a leaking hose; it turned out there was a split in my radiator. The power steering was also making a noise. A dealer wanted to replace the pump. RED S explained the manufacturer substituted automatic transmission fluid for power steering fluid in this model - to cut costs. Instead of replacing the pump he drained the fluid and replaced it with power steering fluid. A new radiator was installed and oil changes, etc. we're also performed - all within a day. Great service and honest assessment of what needs to be done. I'm new to this area and will continue to have work performed by RED S.

Timing was important due to my travel and the need to drive to Kansas. He scheduled the repair timing and met each of his commitments.

Was very professional and explained in detail what was wrong. He gave me options and we moved on from there. There was no sales pitch or attempt to get another service done. Very professional and down to earth.

Finding a quality mechanic was the primary reason for joining Angie's list. Working with Rick on my son's truck was made easy by Rick's flexibility. I was out of town for the whole process. Rick walked me trough on the phone the things that needed to be done. Being an older truck there were some items that we postponed taking care of so the must do repairs could be completed within our budget.. a great job at a great price! Will use RED's Auto Service for all future repairs.

Had an Estimate from Belle Tire for $1400 to fix my van. I dropped it off with Rick at 9AM and it was done by 2PM. He fixed what NEEDED fixed without Padding the job with extra work. I paid $860 instead of $1400. I have used Rick's services for 5 yrs. and have no desire to go elsewhere. The Auburn Hills office of Quest Diagnostics (medical testing) uses Rick's services for their whole fleet of vehicles...and for GOOD reason. Rick is Fair, HONEST, Thorough, Neat and Extremely Competent. He's also a Great source for advice on Used Vehicles you're considering purchasing. He'll tell you what to stay away from and the best to buy from a Mechanic's perspective. R E D's / Rick, ROCKS. You won't go wrong here.

Rick is one of those great Human resources to have in your personal phone directory. Friendly, low-key, honest. If he can't help you, he can recommend someone who can...and they're every bit as good as he is. A MOST Excellent mechanic, Very Knowledgeable, extremely Competent and thorough. So good, the Auburn Hills unit of Quest Diagnostics (Medical Test services) has him do the mechanical work on all their courier vehicles. I have enjoyed working with Rick for almost 6 years. As a striving small businessman, I have learned that I can trust Rick to be Thoroughly Honest in his diagnosis, solutions and pricing for my vehicles' servicing. I have to drive 8 miles out of my way and call a friend for a ride home and back, but I won't trust anyone else with my company service van mechanical work.
