This was one of the best experiences that I have had with home repair. They were prompt, efficient, knowledgeable, informative and reasonably priced. After the door was fixed, i was given some oil and instructions on how to maintain the door. I highly recommend Pontiac Overhead Door Co.

Excellent. Arrived about an hour after the call. Replaced the springs and a broken hinge along with adjusting the door so the segments were all aligned all the while providing a wonderful commentary on the history of the Lake Orion/Clarkston area.

Fast and efficient. This guy is a pro and it shows.

Went well. He did not try to sell me things like new springs that could have been justified if you worked at it. Very pleasant to work with. Door works great and closed tight for winter.

I had a very good experience. They were good. They came here on a Sunday to fix my door and they didn't charge me anything extra. They were awesome. They did a great job. They did what they were supposed to do. I had no issues. They made me feel very comfortable. They were great. No questions at all about when they replaced the pane on the bottom of my garage door a year before.

Perhaps the most pleasant experience to date dealing with contractors and service people.  Note:  I am 69 years old and considered a curmudgeon.  Randy is personable, obviously honest as the day is long, and hard working.  Besides, he knows his s***.  Sort of like American work ethic personified.  When dealing with him don't expect a bunch of BS because he doesn't operate that way.  But he doesn't charge enough.

Our experience with Randy was first rate.  He was on time, knowledgable and professional.  The job went smoothly and in addition to hanging our new motors, he inspected the garage doors and lubricated the fittings and rollers. He also walked through when we would need to think about new doors, providing pricing and options, but educating us rather than selling us new product, which I appreciated.

Randy arrived at 12:00 PM as promised. He immediately began replacing the broken spring and had my door good as new in about 25 minutes. After he changed the spring, he gives the entire door an inspection and corrects anything he sees wrong. In my case, he oiled the tracks and aligned the sensors back into proper orientation. Once the job was complete, he cleaned the work area.
I have used these guys for the past 20 years (back when his Uncle used to own the company) and have never been disappointed. They are fair, honest and do reputable work. I don't call anyone else when i have a garage door problem!

We have used Pontiac Overhead Door to repair and then finally replace our garage door.  Service is always very prompt and of high quality. Work and costs are explained up front and handled efficiently. He is always here when he says that he is going to be and he completes the job with an eye on quality - also always follows up to make sure that things are still going well and encourages you to call if you have any issues.
Overall, very knowledgeable and provides excellent quality service with a smile. We would recommend to anyone who needs help with their garage door!

I called at 815. He called back at 830. He was here at 915. He was cheerful and friendly. He explained the issue to me; I asked him to fix it. Less than an hour later, my garage door is in perfect working order. Great service for a great price!

I called and they answered the phone right away. It was during our big freeze day and everyone was closed and I left messages. Not only did they have the best price, but he came out first thing in the morning and fixed it. He also noted something else that needed repair and said if my husband was handy that it could be done by ourselves to save money. Also gave our third car garage door a tune up. It does not have an opener . It never opened easy in 16 years. We can now open it with one hand! I did not even ask. It was just done automatically and I was told about it after. I would refer them to anyone and definitely use them again.
