Engineered Climate provided us a great experience! The two gentlemen that did the work were very prompt, courteous and professional. They arrived when they said they would and finished the job in the time frame they had given us. They did such a great job cleaning up after themselves, that our basement was cleaner after they left then it had been before they started! We also appreciated the fact that despite the large scope of work, we were only without heat for a very short time. Because of the special challenges our old home presents, we had been dreading this whole furnace experience for some time....we can't say enough about what a great job Engineered Climate did in making it not just a painless process, but a positive one! We would not hesitate to highly recommend them!
Description of Work
Engineered Climate recently replaced our furnace, added and re-directed ductwork and added central air conditioning. Our home is 100 years old and the furnace was about that old as well. Engineered Climate was thorough in examining our existing heating system and giving us options for the best type of furnace for our home. Their estimate was exact and accurate. Engineered Climate disassembled and removed our very large and very old furnace, installed a new high-efficiency, variable speed furnace, replaced some ductwork, added dampers as needed, added two new registers to rooms that previously had not been heated and supplied the necessary ductwork to those new registers, installed central air conditioning and a new programmable thermostat.
