We specialize in 2 areas: BAT REMOVAL and MICE CONTROL. We offer humane bat exclusion services to maintain bat-free homes. We specialize in this service and are the ONLY company recommended by the Organization for Bat Conservation for SE Michigan. Our Prevent-A-Mouse program is an evolved process that can solve your mouse problem. Due to the reproductive power of this rodent, effective control requires breaking the population boom cycle.

We've been having problems with mice in the Winter but when I came face-to-face with one in August, I decided to hire a company versus all the home remedies I've been trying over the years. Aaron came out and looked at our attics and basements to see where the mice have been coming in. He then suggested a plan of action which consisted of inside and outside remedies. Since August he's come back 2x to review where the mice are still trying to infiltrate. So far so good! I haven't seen any mice INSIDE the house this Winter. I think the outside baiting stations are working. We're pleased with the results.

The service is excellent. The technician checked the attic spaces thoroughly and refilled our black boxes. The work is excellent. They stand behind their work. I’ve been working with them for a few years now. They got rid of my bat problem and now I’m on maintenance for bats and mice. Unfortunately I happen to get a lot of mice activity in my area, but thanks to critter catchers we maintain a mouse free home!

Chad Johnson is the person who takes care of mice issues at my house. He does a great job. He is polite, punctual and very knowledgeable. I give Chad the highest possible grade and recommendation. I had a mice problem in my 10,000 square foot house in Ortonville .The house sits on 11.5 acres. So I hired Critter Catchers to help me. Chad has done wonders in working out and solving my problem.

All the staff that have been to our house have been engaged and professional. They have sent reminders for follow up treatment and are prompt to schedule. The owner, Dave , is particularly responsive to any questions or concerns. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I found the entire team to be professional, considerate, prompt and knowledgeable. They did their work competently and without creating a mess inside (had to go into attic) or outside of our house. So far we seem to be bat and mice free. We are still in process, the bat "exit doors" will be removed soon. I only wish they would add in-house "squirrel" removal to their list!

I first contacted Critter Catchers when I was invaded by bats. They came immediately and quickly identified the entry point and set up a system to allow the bats to leave but not allow them to gain entry again. Then I discovered mice and once again Critter Catchers came to the rescue. I have been on their Mouse Prevention program for several years now, and they are the best. They are extraordinarily responsive and punctual. They are all very knowledgeable and a great pleasure to work with. The charge is very reasonable and worth every penny for the peace of mind.

This business is amazing! From the office staff to each and every specialist who has come to my house over the years! We used them for a bat problem and a mouse problem. These were extremely stressful situations for me and they treated us like family, being sure we were well taken care of. THEY ARE EXCELLENT. I HAVE USED THEM FOR YEARS. FIRST CAME THE BATS, IN MY ATTIC, THEN MICE AND AS I SAID BEFORE, 'THEN CAME CRITTER CATCHER'S.' AND GONE WERE THE BATS AND MICE. THE ASSOCIATES ARE KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND TRUSTWORTHY TO BE IN YOUR HOME. Very well. They came out, explained the cause of the problem and what they would do. They installed one-way openings so the bats could leave and not return. After the young had left the roost in our house, they came out, removed the ports and caulked up the soffits. They came when they said they would come and the only problem we had was that a bat apparently was trapped inside when they caulked. It died and caused an odor for about a month.

Called them for bat problem in the attic, they were prompt in responding but they said they couldn’t do anything about the bat issue till late July or August. Quoted me about $2,200 but with discount would be about $1700. Anyway, the guy told me that I had mice problem in the crawl space and attic and I had to do something about it first and would cost me $519 for the poison and 4 bait stations, in addition to the initial visit charge (Angie list discount was included). I went along which wasn’t smart as I never saw mice anywhere near the house, only Chipmunks. The next day I realized that it was a rip off and the bait stations ($65 each) were ugly. I called them the next day and told them I wanted it to return the 4 bait stations and I would take them myself to the company which is not far from where I live. They said I couldn’t bring them back myself and someone would pick them up the next day and the charge to do that would be $65. The guy picked up the ugly bait stations the next day and of course the charge was $65 (they didn’t even give me the keys to bait station since they wanted to come back within 3 months to put more poison in them, of course with a charge). Later I checked on the poison in the crawl space and attic and was never touched and still never saw mice (only chipmunks outside). In short, these guys charged me $324 for non-existing problem (had I done it myself would probably cost me less than $20). I Will never hire them again, will hire someone else for the bat problem.

Controlling mice around the home is important to maintain the integrity of the bat exclusion because mice are rodents and are constantly gnawing. By adding a layer of protection for mice, you can actually help prevent damage to your home that may allow bats to enter new openings. Purchasing this service is, of course, optional. To some people, bat exclusions seem expensive at first glance. Sometimes, people try this themselves and learn that gravity does not forgive. Working at heights can be dangerous or fatal. Often, people realize that the price is actually very reasonable. I understand the urgency to exclude bats from your home, especially when they are getting inside. There are things that we can do (during maternity season). However, during a brief period during June/July, we allow them to raise their young. By early August, we add the one way valves to evict them. There are reasons for this, for your safety and it is explained on our website. Before our exclusion pricing is compared to another operator. Everyone needs to answer these basic questions: Does the competition hold a builders license? Do they carry zero deductible business insurance? Do they have full workman's comp insurance for their employees? Does the company invest heavily in safety equipment and training each year? We can answer yes to all of these questions. Protecting your family and your home is of paramount importance to us. Safe sustainable business practices; that put service to others first, cost money. But for over 10 years, those principles have guided the growth of our business. After considering your point of view on returning the exterior bait stations, I will amend our return policy. It is documented on our website. At the end of the day, we commit to humane removal of the bats. Sometimes, that requires more than 5 follow up events, after the initial bat exclusion. We get the bats out no matter what. We must escrow the funds each year to sustain that level of safe, compliant, and ethical service."

Critter Catchers came to my home found mice in the attic, and bats in one of the soffits. They asked if we would like to treat for mice that day. We said yes and they put mouse bait in the attic and bait stations around the house (I believe bait stations were $65 apiece). They said they would not be able to treat bats that day and they would have to come back. My wife and I decided to wait on bat proofing.
