Our pump was running every couple of minutes, so we obviously thought there was something wrong with it. Walkington came and checked it all over and found that the pump and well are fine, so determined there is water running somewhere else in the house. They investigated further and were able to figure out where the problem most likely exists so that we can contact the right professionals to take care of the issue. Very friendly, professional, thoughtful, and willing to take the time to explain and make sure all our questions were answered. We are extremely happy with Walkington!

Went fine until about 8 months later I was replacing my whole house filter every 2-3 days because it was full of mudd/sand.
Response from Walkington Well Drilling
"Unfortunately this well has what is know as silt sand that showed up approx. 8 months after drilling. This is something that can occur naturally, this is not something a Well Driller can control or know will happen. We do warranty our work as far as materials and construction however how the earth reacts 100' down below the surface will not fall under warranty. There is a stainless steel screen at the bottom of each well that holds back sand and gravel and allow water to flow into the home. The screen used for this job is a very tightly woven screen so holding back this extremely fine silt sand will be impossible. We returned several times at no cost to the customer to see if the silt sand could be dealt with however this is not possible. We offered to drill another well charging for material only no labor and the customer is not willing to work with us. We understand the frustration of the situation but to rate us harshly for a situation beyond human control is unreasonable."

I called Walkington's on the advice of a plumber from Home Experts when it looked as if I had an issue with the well (I had no water at all). The guys, Bryon and Brian, were there in less than an hour. They diagnosed the problem as being a pump problem. They explained the situation, asked me what I thought after making sure I understood my options and it didn't take long for me to feel like a valued member of the crew. I chose to gamble and we were able to successfully get a new pump in, thus avoiding the need for a new well site. The decisions along the way were not easy but I knew what I was up against. I never knew a thing about how a well works until now. Thank you again to Bryon, Brian, Brandon, Terry and Lisa!

Our well pump would not turn off and air was leaking into the system. We reached them on a Sunday morning (7/8/12) and they came out the same day to do an initial assessment. They determined that the problem was likely in the ground so they returned a couple of days later to dig around the well. A connection pipe was replaced as that seemed to be where the air was coming in. It is now 7/31/12 and have had no more problems with the system. Very impressed and relieved that we could reach them on a Sunday. We're happy with the work performed.
