 We were very pleased with their work and being on time and cleaning up after the job was done. We had to replace the roof cause of the mold and damaged plywood, but that was not covered by the insurance cause it wasn't a nature related damage. Example if a tree had fallen on it they would have replaced the roof, otherwise it was our cost to replace it. The cost was in a good price and they did an excellent job and tore off the old roof and and a new in about 8hrs. He told us that if we ever had a problem to call him cause he guarnteed his work. The work was done by the end of March approximately. That winter of the same year 2009, we started having a leak in one of the bedrooms over the sliding door. My husband called him and explained that we had a leak. He said that he would look into the manufacturer of the metal ice guard and get back with us. Well he couldn't call us, he sent a letter saying that the ice guard was fine and that he wasn't responsible for repairing it. The other bedroom didn't leak or has never to this day. So we are thinking that when they put it on that maybe they didn't get it together tight enough. My husband called and tried to explain this to him. But he still wouldn't admit to any wrong doing. I contacted the Better Business Bur. this year cause it leaked again in the same place. They contacted him and got back with us and told us that there wasn't anything that they could legally do to make them come out and look at it. About the only thing we could really do was take him to small claims court and pay for the expense and if they were found quilty then we would be remburised for our cost. Not having jobs at the time and money being tight we have just settled that my husband will have to make the repair himself or find someone to do it for us when we can afford to . Also before we contacted the Better Bus. Bur. my husband went to the city zoning office and tried to see if there was anything that they could suggest and in looking through their files this guy didn't have any permits for doing the work. Which is also a no no.
