Integrity Painting

About us

My business is pretty simple. Currently I am a one man business. Beautifying your home is my main objective. Depending on job size I do have one other professional that I may utilize. I have had the best of customers and seemingly enough, my customers become my friends as many have over the years. In most occasions, I ask for a "starter check". This usually covers what materials I need and a 25% down payment of the labor cost. I will gladly accept a check but I also take cash as a payment.

Mike was great. He was very detailed and eager to do a great job for us. We left for vacation and had family check in and came home to a brand new kitchen!

The price for all this work was competitive. However the work was substandard. I had to point out several areas on the ceiling that were missed. To this day, I'm still finding spots that were not painted. Mike told me he usually did not do repair work but he thought he could fix my bathroom ceiling. He did a poor job and should have insisted I find someone to repair the ceiling before he painted it. When he was done, he said he was dissatisfied with the ceiling and said he would have his friend Toby look at it. One month later, I have not heard from Mike or his friend Toby. I'm finding numerous paint drips on the bathroom walls. The crack between the paneling that was painted on the two walls in the dining area should have been filled in before painting. It was not. The walls were painted a light color and now there is a very visible dark crack. I was subjected to Mike's moodiness. And at one point I had to listen to him snap at his employee who was a very nice guy and didn't deserved to be talked to like that, at least not in front of a customer (me). Mike was punctual and did get the job done timely. If you choose to work with Mike, I recommend you monitor all work closely and withhold some part of payment when he says he'll be back to work on something he's not satisfied with. I have mixed emotions. Part of me would like to see the bathroom ceiling fixed correctly and part of me is glad he's not come back. The last 2 photos are of my bathroom ceiling. One with the flash on my camera and one without the flash.

Mike was so professional! I really appreciate his help when I contacted him on a Friday and he showed up the next day (Saturday) to work on my drywall issue. He stuck with it and the final outcome was a repaired ceiling. I would not hesitate to recommend him for your drywall and painting needs. Thanks, Mike, for over extending yourself. He charged my $125 and I wrote the check out for $200! Well deserved...

Mike did a nice, timely job of painting interior ceilings and walls throughout both our first and second floors. It took him about one week to finish our job which included first floor kitchen, hallway, dining, and living room ceilings, first floor hallway, dining, and living room walls (9 feet and 14 feet tall), two-story entry way ceiling and walls, and second floor hallway ceiling and walls.

Mike stuck to his quote despite having to purchase more paint than originally thought. We were very pleased with the paint that he suggested and his overall quality of painting was good. He showed up when he said he would and was usually done for the day by 3:30 or 4 pm.

Though his quality of painting was good overall, he did leave paint splatter on various parts of our woodwork and missed a number of drywall screw repairs which are still protruding. He did not clean up after pulling up his drop clothes each day which means I had to sweep and vacuum the various dried paint chips and debris which come with oft-used paint drop clothes.

Overall we were pleased with Mike's work and would not hesitate to hire him again for future jobs.

After experiencing several other unprofessional contractors, we were very pleased with Mike's professionalism, cleanliness, quality of work, and commitment to the job.  He responded to our questions, did what he said he was going to do, cleaned up after himself, finished the project on the timeline promised, worked well with other contractors, and was very fair in his pricing.  He is not cheap but not too expensive either.  In our opinion, his rates are very reasonable given how good his work is.  We've recommended him to others and all have been happy with his service.  Definitely a guy that we will be using again.
