Job Started: 7/2017 Job still Pending: 11/2017 I am extremely upset with the conduct and service of American Dream Home Improvement. Stay away from this company. I'll try to lay this out in quick(er) bullet points, if I can. -They would not give me a firm dollar amount when it came to replacing the roof on the garage, and became very deceptive and avoidant of the topic every time I brought it up. Since the insurance company was involved, I felt a false sense of security. They left the dollar amount as "TBD" and told me that signing their contact only guaranteed that they get the work if the insurance company approved the claim. They moved forward with what they call a roof replacement. They put new shingles over rotted boards and called them "hammer-able surfaces", though I had specifically requested that they be replaced. - -When confirming the siding that the company was choosing to move forward with via text message, I received this text message response: "..thanks for letting me know, I'll put it in"......."ok done ::explotive::. I'd type what was really said and post a screen shot of the conversation, but my post will get flagged for hate speech. It started with the letter N. -They left pallets from the job in my drive way for me to dispose of. -If you are filing an insurance claim, make sure you are only paying them for work they actually performed. ADHI tried to bill me for items they did not fix. Example: The insurance stated a line item for shutter repair and replacement......There are NO shutters on my garage. No work was performed on any shutters on my property, yet they insisted that they did and tried to bill me for it, claiming that they had "pictures "of it. No, they don't, because there aren't any shutters on my garage. I could write a novel on the rest of the conduct and service of ADHI, but let some of these pictures speak to what the company offers. I'm currently contesting their billing. I will take ownership of not doing my due diligence before contacting ADHI for work. Had I taken time to research the company, I would have been able to avoid this all together. Do your research and read all of the reviews about this company. 11-10-17: I am still working with them on all the matters listed above, plus more. They are doing an astonishing poor job of resolving all issues that previously stated.

I recently had my roof done by american dream and after reading all the bad reviews on them and still working with them, that the reviews are wrong! They were great to work with and they did a good job. All staff From the sales women all the way to final billing did exactly what they should have. I would recommend them to anyone (as i did with 4 others) and i would have work done by them again! Thanks american dream for proving the bad reviews wrong!
