Woodward's Garage

I have been going Woodwards for years! Always had good service and good price. Unfortunately after my last service work there, the mechanic failed to properly install my oil filter and cap....draining the motor and burning it up on the test drive! The owner Greg is refusing to take care of replacing the motor and the insurance company will only pay out $5200... I purchased the vehicle less then 2 years ago for $6500 and have put $8,200 into repairs in the last year. I'm getting screwed out of the $14000 i have invested into this vehicle and it is my daily work vehicle. I will be asking this to court to settle!

They are very thorough and use good quality parts.

Greg (owner/manager) was very professional. Called this a.m. first to inform me of my problem. Quoted roughly $200.00 An hour later Greg called back to inform me that my jeep was finished. Price out the door would be $168.83 Not only was I surprised by the efficiency of the establishment, but the final cost. No more banging under the front of car, I am driving straight down the road, and I don't panic when I run over pot holes, or train tracks. Exceptional service. I am quite, quite pleased with the outcome. Have been going there for many a car, and never been burned once. Great mechanics, great service.

needed work done ASAP. They were very responsive, courteous, and straightforward. Gave me an estimate over the phone (assuming that the only thing needed was radiator). Took the car in the next day. They called me after they checked it out. Car was done in one day.(cost was less than half of the dealership's quote)

Never reached them ... called them on a Wednesday afternoon at 5:05, 5:10 and 5:15, only to hear their published hours (of 7:30 to 5:30), and a request to call back the next day! No message machine, or any other means to be called back ... guess they don't want business, even during business hours!

We've had good service from them all along. They would be the same evaluation as the grades I gave you before.

(Price) Excellent. (Duration of service) One day. (How are the workers) They are friendly, informed. (How clean did they leave the vehicle when you left) It was perfect, it was fine

Phone was answered by a professional. She scheduled the appointment within 2 days of the call. When I asked about the work she was clear, concise, and pleasant. I asked that they pressure test the A/C first, and if the system holds pressure, to recharge.  If not, to call me and cease work. All instructions were followed. I also asked them to run a diagnostic on the SRS light. They found the issues and repaired it.

I opted to use the after hours drop off and pick up. That went flawlessly.  When the technician called to tell me that the car was done, he answered all my questions clearly and concisely.

This experience was much better than my expectations and certainly exceeded it.

My car is old but it's doing fine. Ron who runs it is an old school mechanic and his staff is very well trained. I observed them. He will do exactly what you ask and what needs to be done. He doesn't do something else that's not needed done to jack up the price or anything. He's actually quite reasonable as far as price is concerned compared to the others we've used. A colleague of mine at work recommended Woodward's and that's exactly what we needed. He'll tell you what needed to be done. His staff would diagnose it fairly quickly and fix it as soon as they possibly can. They're very popular so you can wait a bit but otherwise, it's just exactly what we wanted. He's been good with both of our cars, my wife's and mine. They fixed it with $150 worth of materials and labor. It sounded like the muffler was gone and it doesn't sound like that anymore and my car is a 2001. He's been fine with both of our cars. I would rate him A all the way down.

They finished work on 1/27/15. The garage always seems very busy, so the few times we've needed car repair we usually have to wait a day or two, but once they have your vehicle they get to it quickly. Our leak was in the manifold intake and head gasket (not good) so they fixed that and changed the oil to make sure there wasn't antifreeze left in the oil. 
 The other time we needed repair (both occasions on my '98 Chevy Silverado 4x4 ext. cab) it wouldn't start. Just a few wires-$40!
