Everything went very smoothly; our shrubbery was protected & everything was cleaned up perfectly. Mr. Middleton, the owner, was very professional & made us feel as if our project was very important to him; he treated our house as if it was his house. We were very pleased with his work & that of his crew. We would highly recommend his company.

The work was done promptly. The site was cleaned up when finished. No surprises on the cost. Will the repair hold up over the long Michigan winter? I think so. I will have to up date next year.

VERY helpful even though he did not do the type roofing I needed. I needed a hot-tar and gravel person for flat roof. Wonderful, professional attitude and took pictures to show his diagnostic reasons. Arrive a time stated and was helpful in helping me to see what I needed. I would recommend him to anyone.

He was very thorough in his inspection and discovered issues with our chimney which needed calking and some tar to stop leaks.  He completed those repairs the next day so we will be ok for this winter. He also advised of some issues which we need to address with a mason in the spring.  I felt he was very honest and sincere in his assessments and appreciated finding out about repairs that needed to be done.  I will definitely use the company in the future.

I contacted V-M on Thursday.  The woman who answered the phone was very polite and scheduled the appointment for Monday.  Saturday afternoon, I got a call and Vern showed up to assess the problem.  He diagnosed the issue and clearly explained to me the options for repairing it.  Fortunately, he had the material to cover the hole and performed the work the same day.  He was very professional throughout the whole process.  He and his wife were very pleasant. 

I had a very satisfactory experience with V-M Roofing from start to finish. The owner was very professional in our interactions, both in person and over the phone. The job was done when promised. They left the work site very clean. The price was in line with other bids on the job. I think I got good value for the price.

The best thing about working with Vern was that he approached the job the way I think he would have done it if it had been his own house.  From the beginning, he took great care to explain the entire process and make sure I was comfortable with what was going to happen.  They covered bushes with tarps and protected my hot tub with boards, just in case something fell from the roof. 
They were able to start the job promptly after being given the go-ahead and completed the whole job in a week, even though I added the shed after giving him the job initially.  There was a delay of a few days in the middle due to weather, but they made sure the house was in protected before the rain came.  They were very careful to make sure everything was cleaned up when they finished so that when they were done, the only evidence they were there was the nice, new roof.

I have had a many years long issue with leaking around my chimney from another contractor. Vern was recommended by a neighbor who told me he wouldn't use anyone but V & M Roofing. Vern came out and replaced flashing around chimney. There have been no leaks since. He is very professional and strives to make the customer satisfied. He will be the company I call when my roof needs replacing. He showed up on time and stayed until job was completed.

Throughout the job Vern brought the problems he uncovered to our attention. So we felt well informed, and we could actually see that the mistakes of the original roofer were corrected. This gave us the confidence that Vern and his crew did a very thorough and professional job.
The crew kept our yard clean and were careful not to harm our grass, septic system and shrubs. They were even nice to our dog.
We are absolutely satisfied with the work of V-M Roofing,  We are confident this new roof will not leak because this time the job was done by a person and a company of  professionalism and integrity.

.Excellent. Vern is very professional and personable. He completed the job when scheduled and made sure all the trash was cleaned up. I believe he has been in the roofing business over 35 years.

Our roof style is a little complex as it has many turns and sections. The crew showed up on time and they were extremely polite and presentable. Communication was outstanding with coordinating service. Vern helped us pick out our new style and color of shingles and we are happy we took his suggestion, because they look great! They cleaned up every day, and we never found one piece of waste or even a nail around our home. We were very pleased to see the workers were appropriately dressed and never used foul language or talked about anything inappropriate while on the job site. It was about 90 degrees out when they were on the roof and we never heard them complain once. They even bought our 5 year old son a huge toy truck when they were done! My husband and I are VERY picky people and we expect only the best and that is what VM Roofing provided for us. We could not be happier with the quality of their work. We are getting ready to replace our gutters and plan on contacting this company again to see if they provide this service.
