Everything went fine. This is a great place if you want an honest mechanic near downtown Kzoo.

Checked out problem and solved it at reasonable cost. Followed up on a later complication at no charge. These guys are honest and reasonably priced. My wife takes her 2010 CRV there also and is pleased with their work.

The service was very good. Adam knew exactly what needed to be done and explained it to me simple and clear manner. I did not have any unexpected things. They were able to get the work done in a timely manner. They were honest and cost effective.

Shoemaker and his son are top notch human beings. Me and my wife have used him since before we got married and we have been married for 22 years. We would not use anyone else.

It went great, they did what they had to do and that was actually a follow up visit, I went there the first time, I had a problem and they checked it out, they didn't find the problem and they didn't charge me for it. I thought that was pretty amazing and that is why went back again. They were recommended to me by another friend, I tried them and I liked them. They were friendly and encouraging and let me know what was going on so we went from there. They did a good job. The shop was clean and I had to leave the car, which was okay, and they worked it in during the day. I couldn't find anything I could fault them with.

Found that the leak was in a rear heating system. They rerouted the hoses and eliminated the leak. Said this could be a permanent fix or they would shop out the parts for me but this would be an expensive repair. Since this is my sons car and is older we chose option A.

Gary Shoemaker runs Shoemaker's Garage. I have known him for several years. He has worked on several of my cars throughout the years. He stands by his work 100%. He charges well, but he does quality work. It is well worth any extra that you may pay. He is very responsive and punctual. He has perfect professionalism.

As always, fantastic. I called late in the morning and they worked me in at my convenience for that afternoon. Gary, Adam and the whole crew are great--always helpful, and they always make me feel that I'm their most important customer. (I've been taking cars here for over 20 years--Gary even helps me find my next car!)

Gary is amazing at what he does. He is always helpful and understanding of our situations. We have been taking my kids' cars to him for several years (he was recommended by a neighbor). Gary has never pressured me to do work that I couldn't afford or didn't want to do. He will go the extra mile to find parts that are less expensive than dealership costs and always gives me the option to go with one or the other. I have even dropped off a car (or had it towed) unexpectedly in the evening on several occasions and called him the next morning, and he has always worked it in to his schedule that day. It is always wonderful to find someone that you trust and treats you with respect. I will only take my cars to Shoemaker's from now on!
