Our water heater started to leak just after New Year's day, but we really were not in a position to do anything about it at that point. But on Friday, the 2nd of January, I contacted our home warranty company during the evening, and they promised to try to gets someone in touch with us Saturday, the 3rd, but it would probably be Monday, the 5th. Imagine my surprise when Russ Baker actually called at 8:30 Saturday morning. He asked me some questions about the water heater and told me that he would try to find a replacement, but considering it was the weekend, he doubted he could find one. A few hours later he called back to let me know that he was successful in finding one, and that he would be to our home a bit past 1 pm. He and his helper arrived at approx. 1:30 pm, got to work right away, and were done, including removal of the old and clean-up, by 3:30 pm. They were quick, professional, and very nice. Can you imagine? A plumber that calls when promised, arrives within a half hour of promise, and completes the work quickly and efficiently all on a Saturday! I would highly recommend them to anyone needing work of this sort. By the way, I put the price to be N/A as the invoiced amount was determined by the home warranty company and not R. A. Baker.
