The valance they made for me is worse than I could have done myself — the sides of it aren’t even the same length. They are 1” different!

Very well, excellent job, especially in that other shops said they couldn't save the existing upholstery. Leatherman di! Kudos.

1. My husband and his friend transported the couch to their location in downtown Kalamazoo. They parked in Farmer's Alley and employees unloaded and moved the couch to their shop. When the work was complete, they carried the couch to the truck.

I went to their new location, and ended up in the basement where they do the actual work. They guided me to the location I should have gone to. Chris did a great job of assessing the print and location that would work (it was a large print with a small space). When they called to say it was done, I was detained. They called to make sure I got the message. When I went to pick up my order, a woman named Jamie helped me carry it to the car. Excellent in every way.

I was very satisfied with the work, they were very helpful both in picking out the fabric and getting the work done on time. I delivered the items to them because they were light weight and easy to get to them. They do have a pick up service. I'd use them again.

The upholstery project went very well, although the price was a couple hundred dollars more than the verbal estimate given and what I was initially told by the owner apparently wasn't communicated to the office manager for billing. As far as upholstery, I have never seen a company do better than Paw Paw Upholstery and I would highly recommend that service from the company, but get a written estimate before agreeing to the work. However I do not recommend them for window blinds. I believe this is a new endeavor for them, and our order was completely wrong. I ended up sending it all back and was angry because of some very specific questions that we wanted answered by the manufacturer before the order was placed, which apparently were never asked and resulted in the order being incorrect. Because of the unprofessional way the owner handled the issue with the blinds, I will not be giving them any more of my business. I am saddened by this because they do an amazing job with upholstery.
