Dick did an estimate for me and came up with a very reasonable price. 
We agreed that he would give me a call when he could complete the work. 
One week later, he called and was ready to go the next day.  He was
very agreeable to work with my property manager and tenant.  Later that
week he called to say that the work was completed.  I traveled to
Kalamazoo to do an inspection.  The work looks good.  It turned out to
be a little more difficult than anticipated, but I am pleased that he
was willing to make good on his estimate, finished the job in a timely fashion and was easy to work with.The job was to

Because he is busy and my job was not an emergency and there was a lot of storm damge that was, it took him a couple of weeks longer than even he thought it would to get here. But once he started he was here every day on a timely manner and worked very hard.

Took a little longer than expected to get started.  The job performed was good but contractor could have taken better care not to trample landscaping.  Much of the damage could have, and should have, been avoided with more care.

I had one of the best experiences I've had so far with a contractor. Mr. O'Day is prompt, professional and knows his way around a trowel and bricks! He is from the "old school" of doing business where he really tends to the customer's request and is genuinely concerned that the customer be satisfied with the final product. A bit of a perfectionist, I could tell he took pride in his workmanship. I can highly recommend him without any reservations. He does quality brick laying.
