This was a fairly large job and was completed very well by professionals from Barney Naylor.

The planning/sales portion went well. Very courteous sales, nicely planned landscaping. Very messy implementation of landscaping project and after much complaining the grass planted which was a field of weeds, was replaced with sod. So that was a win and the right thing to do. Ongoing project required intense oversight. Ongoing maintenance lacked any supervisory QA and required regular follow up to cover issues that weren't addressed as part of what was being paid for. Finally, the plow service filled in a drain (2nd year in a row), and the supervising manager simply argued with me that they had cleaned it out even though it is clearly not cleaned out and my driveway floods every time it rains. No accountability or responsibility taken. It's my problem now.
I could not recommend them to anyone with any level of confidence. Disappointing.

Naylor Landscape Managment were prompt, what they quoted is what we were billed, and their service was high quality. I would recommend Naylor Landscape Managment.

Project #1: The patio paver repair went well. The structural changes should eliminate animals burrowing under the patios and steps leading from the upper to lower patios. We were very pleased with the final product.Project #2: The complete water feature project is still a work in progress. The natural features of the stream and the pond are exactly what were presented to us in the initial design. It is 100% better than the water feature we had installed 12 years ago. The feature fits seamlessly into the environment. However, we are still working with Naylor on leaks in the stream bed. Naylor has been working closely with us to repair any problems. They guarantee their work, and they have consistently kept an eye on this project over the last 2 months. The crew that worked on this project was professional and proud of their workmanship. They arrived early and accomplished each goal they set for the day. They listened to our suggestions and incorporated changes as the project moved along. James Whittaker, the Landscape Construction Supervisor, is professional, cooperative, and goal oriented.Be aware that any modification to the original design may have a cost. Be sure to raise this issue if changes are to be made.

We think they do a good job. Our experience has been very good. They do what they say.
