MURRAY LANDSCAPING LLC

I received a prompt quote and the work started within a week during the busiest time of the year for landscapers. A crew of 5 came out and finished filling in several deep holes in my lawn. The work took about 1.5 days total. Everything looked really good, and they even patched an additional spot I didn't point out during the work estimate... I guess they had leftover soil. That was definitely above and beyond! After the job was done, a sprinkler head had been adjusted too high above grade, and Ken immediately came out to fix. Great service and work overall, would recommend. My only note is that their communication could be better. The crews randomly showed up without giving a day/time to start work. Seeing a group of guys walking around our backyard all of the sudden was startling at first, but they politely confirmed they were there to landscape. Would appreciate a heads up in the future.

Started on time, finished on time. Work looks great. No excuses, very responsive, quality work.

Ken was a pleasure to work with, guys doing the planting were courteous and professional. Clean-up was very good.

Ken was responsive, gave good information.  He came to the house and helped decide on tree placement.  The crew showed up, worked quickly, and cleaned up perfectly.  This project could have resulted in a lot of damage to the back yard lawn -- but I could hardly tell they had been here.  Great job!  And very beautiful healthy trees.

They were kind of in the middle for price for what I wanted to get done.

Projects were completed quickly and at the estimated cost.  We were very satisfied with the appearance of the completed projects. Project areas we nicely cleaned up at project completion.

This is the only landscaping service I use. They were a little high-priced but they did a good quality work.

Excellent!  We loved being able to walk through their immense nursery and look at all the trees before selecting the variety we purchased.  They were prompt and did a good job cleaning up the area.

In a hurry, but couldn't be happier with the way Ken Murray handled himself and the job to be done.  Her arrived early and completed all reqauired work promptly and professionally.

Last spring our septic failed and had to be replaced.  This involved tearing up our front yard.  
The septic guys had to be put  electrical outlet on a post placed in the middle of my flower bed right
at the front of the house.  It stands about 3 feet tall and is ugly.  This to run the pump that is in the
septic  Because of code and the health dept.  we had no choice of where the outlet could be placed.
And it has ruined the look of our home. 
     So we thought that we were clever enough to fix the mess ourselves.  We worked at cuting down
the plants that survived the septic replacement and tried to rearrange some iris and peony bushes
and all we did was make it worst.  I love my home but the front was a eye sore, and I was embarassed
to have people drive by.  We finally decided to call Murray's  for help.  We have used them before and
will call them for anything we want done in the yard in the future.  Kelly came out the day I called and
she and I talked about what I wanted and what could actually be done.  She was back the next day
with her crew and in a few hours the transformation is incredible.  She has an artist eye and the
guys she works with are amazing.  They moved the iris tubers,  move the peonies, put in low
maintainance evergreen plants and fresh mulch.  I love it.  Thank again to Ken and Kelly

We couldn't be more pleased.  Kelly (landscape designer for Murray) visited us at least three times.  My wife had many ideas of her own.  Kelly used those ideas and came up with improvements.  We had three landscape estimates and Kelly's (Murray's) was by far the best and her plans were all FREE.  We paid for the other plans.  Another feature of Kelly's (Murray's) plans was that each garden area was planned and estimated separately with an itemized list of costs.  We felt very comfortable adding and subtracting items and areas.  Kelly was with us all the way and visited while the workmen were doing the job.  Ken Murray (owner) visited and designed the porches and lighting.  The workmen were prompt and extremely nice.  My wife made them cookies daily.
We added and subtracted numerous items including the new porches.  So, by the time the job was complete I had good idea of the final bill, but not to the penny.  When Ken Murray was putting in the lighting I asked him for a itemized bill.  A few days after the job was done I recieved an itemized bill.  My wife and I were very pleased.  I would not change one thing.  We love the new look to our house and told Kelly that she could use our house to show other costumers if she wished.  Ken took us to see a place where he put in a new stone porche so we could see what ours would look like.
We now have plans to have Murray do more work next spring.

This a continuation of a previous report.  We ititially were going to build a retaining wall, but found that we couldn't
because of county code.  So we went to plan B,  and Murrays cut down a dying ash tree and dug out the stump
and replaced it with a sugar maple.  We had a side walk that went around the house and was made of paver stones.
It was very uneven and a tripping hazard, so team one took out the pavers and built a circular firepit in the back yard.
Murrays brought in Gustum Enterprises aka the cement guys and they poured and stamped a sidewalk around the
house to the front and made and poured two steps.  It is beautiful.  Gustums are my cement guys for anything I might
need.  team two came out and weeded all my flower beds repositioned trim rocks and stones, then layed mulch.
My yard is beautiful and all set for summer parties. 

They came out to build a wall in the front of my house on a slpoe in the yard that is too difficult to mow and even harder to weed whack.
They had about 6 hours into the wall when the county inspector showed up and told us that we could not have a wall as close to the street as what we were building.  So Mr. Murray came out and we spent about an hour discussing options.  The slope was eased so that it is mowable.  I have a nice refund of most of the down payment and now we are discussing other projects.  These are very nice and professional men.  I will be call Murrays for all my landscaping need.  Mr. Murray is open and honest and will tell you if you can or cannot on ideas and he will bring up options that maybe a lay person would not know about.
