I was pleased with work. They removed a very large aluminum cover that was over my caps and then installed the caps.

It was fine! Prompt, kinda gruff but polite and efficient.

Joel was prompt and professional and there was no mess afterwards.  Joel was also able to provide a lot of good info about our chimney/fireplace and was able to answer all of my questions.  We'll definitely use Kazoo Chimney next time we need a cleaning.

they were punctual and professional, some small brick crumbs did fall through the fireplace but those were easily cleared.

They performed good work. They were all nice men who did a good job. The gutter cleaning was very good. The workers cleaned whatever was needed to be cleaned right after removing the leaves from my gutters.

My experience with Kazoo Chimney and Lawn Sprinkler worked out pretty good.

My husband and I just moved into a house built in 1975 and wanted to make sure the chimney was in good working order before lighting our first fire. I found Joe on Angie's List and was not disappointed!! He and his partner were prompt, clean, and quick!! The whole process form set up to clean up took about a half hour. Joe explained what we should look into fixing and how we can do it in an affordable way. He took the time to show me how to work our ancient damper and made sure I really felt comfortable with everything. I have already recommended his service to all of my friends and now I am recommending him to YOU!! (Bonus- he's great with dogs!)

The service was great. Mike and Alex came in and took care of business. One of my chimneys was in much worse shape than the other, but they tackled each one. They kept everything clean around my house. I didn't see any traces of the cleaning left anywhere around my home.
I had called the service only the day before, and I believe that they may have either squeezed in my appointment, or the appointment wasn't well communicated well to the team, as they were about 90 minutes late. Being late wasn't ideal for me, but since I only called the day before, it was a small price to pay.

Excellent professional service, presented us with our options on restoring the fireplace back to wood burning and performed the work in a minimal amount of time.

I just moved into my house and the house inspector told me the flue was broken. I called this company, they came and cleaned my chimney and he advised me against spending more money just yet on putting in a new flue because they could not get an original part and it would be expensive to complete the entire repair. He told me to live through the winter and to close my glass fireplace doors and see if I thought I was going to pay through the nose for heat. This winter was incredibly cold but we managed just fine without the expense just yet. Not only did I appreciate this guy's honesty -- but he and his staff were impeccable. The cleaned the chimney without leaving a speck of soot.

The crew was on time and ready to perform the work. The cleaning and inspection was money well spent. The work was performed in a clean and efficient manner. The owner provided suggestions on how to reduce fireplace smoking and odor from entering the house. Fortunately the chimney was in good shape without any issues. This was money well spent. I know of friends who have had unknown chimney issues for a variety of reasons and nearly burned their house down or had extreme smoke damage to their interior. The cost of an inspection and the installation of a chimney cap (if needed) is well worth the investment.

Joe showed up early and called first to make sure that this was alright. I'm a new home owner with a dysfunctional flue that dates from 1923. After cleaning my chimney he gave me a few options. One was to install a new mechanism for $345. I may still do it but he said that if it were his chimney, he'd start with the less expensive fix. He seemed honest and so not a hard sell! Not least, I have a white leather sofa and chair in the living room. I was concerned that his service would cause a mess -- these men were very clean and left my house as clean as when they arrived. If I find the need for the more expensive fix, I will be calling him. He came highly recommended as well from my home inspector. Lovely guys and great service!

First time I've used Kazoo Chimney and Lawn Sprinkler services for my annual chimney cleaning. I called for an appointment and my phone call was returned promptly. They were able to arrange their schedules to meet my needs. Both Mike and Joe arrived and did a through inspection. They noted some problems that needed attention and repair, provided advice, and cleaned inside and out leaving the job clean. However, I did not later that the inside chimney pipe was not removed and cleaned as I would have expected, but overall a very satisfactory service. Nice to do business with a professional local business.

After two trips to my house, there were still unresolved issues. I called him and asked about the cost and that it didn't seem that the work up to then had been done properly. He immediately became belligerent and started making excuses and saying that there were plans to fix things on their next visit. I said it seemed like they should have been corrected by now. But he just didn't seem to listen to what I was saying. He just kept cutting me off and before long just hung up on me. I never raised my voice to him and only wanted to resolve the problems. Instead he just kept the aggressive tone. It was the kind of unprofessional attitude that ruins business relationships. I thought he was charging too much, but when I called other companies, his charges were in line. The workmanship and the anger were the problems. When I called him, I just wanted to talk and to understand how we could resolve the situation. He never gave me a chance. I called a competing company. They came the next day and adjusted and/or repaired all the sprinkler heads in short order and with a friendly, cooperative attitude. They will receive my sprinkler business from now on. Joe Jewett said he also needed to extend the underground line to cover an area that wasn't receiving water and that they would do that the following Tuesday. The business relationship ended before that visit. The new company was able to cover that area with water by simply adjusting the existing sprinkler heads. As I told Joe in a letter with my payment, he lost a customer for life because he couldn't control his anger. And I was dissatisfied with the work also.
