Landscaping By Luke

Really terrible service. Tried to give him the benfi of the doubt because he's a young man, but the signs were there from the beginning.

1) Doesn't run a good business

 - impossible to get a hold of. He has one line and I kid you not, 4 out of 5 times, the mailbox is full

 - billing is inconsistent

2) Unpredictable

 - Schedule weekly service for lawn mowing. He comes every 10 or so days. Can't get a hold of him to ask why (See above) and he offers no explanation. In the meantime, our yard has gone to seed

3) Poor equipment

When he does mow, the mower is in such poor shape it leaks gasoline onto the yard. Now we have dead burned spots throughout.

Would love to cancel, but I have no way of letting him know. Terrible. Don't do it.

Luke cuts lawns on Mondays and Fridays.  Sometimes he has completed my job by himself.  Sometimes he has worked with others on his crew.  Luke works very hard, is dependable, very polite, and I would highly recommend.  Additionally his prices are very reasonable.  My neighbor now also uses his landscape services per my recommendation (planned and carried out landscaping their yard; power washed entire home.)  She is also very happy with Landscaping by Luke and has recommended to other neighbors.   (See my previous recommendation for gutter cleaning.)

Good, we will hire him again in the spring.

This is the second time that I have used Landscaping By Luke (Luke Gazi) to clean out my gutters.  When he arrived, I was in the process of moving a large bush.  He asked if he could help?  My grateful response was how much would he charge? He said $5!!  (I paid him $60 total for the gutters and moving the bush, probably too little, but he refused more.)  He grabbed a shovel, and the weigela was moved and replanted in a fraction of the time that it would have taken me alone.   He also replaced most of my edging around my planter area without being asked (but appreciated).

Then, on to the gutters.  The last time Luke cleaned out our gutters, one of the drain spouts was totally blocked due to a tree that had overgrown.  Luke spent an immense amount of time disconnecting, clearing, and reconnecting the drainage spout (way above and beyond the call of duty) -- NEVER a complaint.  Always a positive attitude, seeing this unexpected problem as a part of the job that he had signed to, and would not be finished until the spout was cleared.

This year, once again, he did an impeccable job, quickly climbing up on our 2-story Colonial and cleaning out our gutters.  He made sure all drains were clear, and then cleaned up all the leaves and stuff that had been cleaned out of the gutters and drains. 

Luke is very polite  and professional.  His price is significantly cheaper than several who have performed  Although I have not utized his landscaping services (except for the above), if I were in need I would definitely contact him in the future.
