GRUIZENGA HOME INSPECTIONS INC

Mr. Gruizenga showed up on time.  He was professional, friendly, and very clear as he did an overview of what the home inspection would include and not include, his experience and credentials, the contract, and the cost.  He was extremely thorough and explained each issue of the home in detail.  He addressed our concerns and found many other problems in the house that we had not even considered.  He gave us estimates for repair and replacement costs for all sorts of mechanical issues throughout the home.  He tested all the appliances and the heating system, explored the attic, found active water seepage in the basement, found a weakness in the exterior wall of the home, tested outlets, tested for and found gas leaks and live wires, and more.  And this house had looked perfectly fine after multiple showings and walkarounds!
He provided us with an informational book and his checklist afterward and answered all our questions.  His evaluation saved us so much time and money by keeping us from purchasing a home that would've been more work than it was worth.  We will definitely hire him again when find our next home!
