From Chris Brenner's initial visit to provide suggestions and an estimate until the day of the actual work, the process went smoothly despite rain delays. Estimate arrived in a timely fashion and work was scheduled for late May. The installers arrived bright and early on the morning of the first of June and went right to work, asking me questions as necessary and being careful to avoid my strawberries and other plants near the old fences. The work was completed in one day and looks terrific.
Farm N Garden does not use prefab fencing. Kirk and Dan first had to create and install the frames down each side of my property, then install the individual panels one at a time. This process was done with on-going measuring and leveling. A few days after I discovered that one panel out of many had not been nailed [they use galvanized nails, not staples that rust] down. Kirk and Dan were out that very afternoon to double check and fix that minor problem.
Everyone I dealt with was professional and efficient.

Farm and Garden never disappoints me. It's a second-generation family-owned company that takes pride in its work. This is an update review, after my previous rave review about fencing. Now the company offers tree service. Ben Yost, the owner, is a licensed arborist and really knows his trees. He worked on several landscape trees for me last spring and I will have the service repeated this year as I try to balance some tree sizes and shapes with their locations in my yard. In addition to its various high quality outdoor services, Farm and Garden offers free home delivery for merchandise of $35 or more, and I have used it several times for mulch, largish quantities of bird food, etc. Delivery is always reliable, cheerful, and did I mention FREE? This is just a wonderful company.

They were very accommodating as far as the design process and working with us to come up with a fence that was going to meet our needs. The installation of the fence was problematic. The installers installed the gate in a 6 inch deep trench and we couldn't open it. When I called them and asked them about it, they either wanted to cut off the bottom of the gate or reinstall it on the post which would have changed the balance. I had to work with them in order to get a resolution that was acceptable. We did get it worked out. The gate started to sag after the first year and when I called them they came out a couple days later to put in some supports to help the sagging; they were good with the follow-up. In the end, it was fine.

.They were awesome. The product they delivered looks awesome even after a year that the fence has been up. The quality of the work they did as I am pretty particular and they did a very nice job you could tell there were no short cuts being made. Its fantastic and it was just what we were hoping for.

Great company to work with! Always showed up at promised time and made sure all expectations were set correctly. Actual quality of work is great. Experienced team that knows what they are doing. Quality of material is top notch. Cleaned up after the job was done like the fence was always there. Definitely will be coming back in the future!

Farm and Garden associates were helpful, well informed, and thoroughly professional. They offered superb advice on the proper installation of replacement posts and rails. They assured that I purchased the correct products and tools to keep an aging fence in top condition in structure and appearance.

They work on small sections of the fence. Chris, the salesman, comes out everytime. He helps me measure and he figures it all out with me. He even came with me to get the property lines. I love this company. Their fence is kind of crazy, but it is a really high quality fence. So, it is a little more expensive, but it is really nice. I will continue to use them in the future.

Farm and Garden knew exactly what kind of fencing to use to match their earlier jobs and installed it within a few days of my order. They even matched the gate. While on the job, the installers consulted with me about a couple essential details I hadn't considered. My backyard, now completely fenced, has a private, cozy ambience, and the newest addition to my fence looks appropriate from inside and outside. (And this winter -- no deer eating the bushes.) Farm and Garden did a quality job of installation with little hassle for me and at an acceptable price. Great company for fencing in the Kalamazoo/Portage area!

I purchased a new home and needed to have the back yard fenced to keep my dog in. They came out and gave me ideas and an estimate. They were very helpful and honest. They showed up on time to do the work and it was completed when they said it would be. I was very impressed with the salesman and the workers. I would recomend them to anyone!!!

I have purchased this fencing in sections over 3 years. Chris is always helpful and appreciative of my business even when purchasing small sections of fencing.
