DEYOUNG LANDSCAPE SERVICES

It's just one part of the service that I had a problem with. The prices are good. I had a problem with the lawn cutting. I put my complaint in for the past 2 years. They do a pivot turn so sharp they rip my grass off by the root and they continue to do it so I'm going to get someone to cut, but I like all their other service.

They are a little pricey. I am very picky on how things are done.

As a person with a disability, using a wheelchair for mobility, clearing snow is an extremely dangerous task for me. DeYoung Landscaping made sure my driveway was very well plowed and my walk was shoveled every day. They were timely and very reasonably priced. Without a doubt, I plan to use them in the future.

Went very well. The landscape design met our expectations. The workers stayed with the job until complete. Very skilled and hard working. Periodic followup by the landscape designer during the course of the job was appreciated. Although somewhat pricey, they delivered what they promised.

A REP CAME QUICKLY, SKETCHED OUT A PLAN AND EXECUTED IT JUST AS HE SAID HE WOULD. I LIVE ON A TINY PLOT AND ALL THE NEIGHBORS WERE SO IMPRESSED -- AS WAS I. THEY PROVIDED A VERY ELEGANT/SIMPLE DESIGN THAT WORKS WITH MY SMALL HOUSE. THEY'VE SINCE STUCK TO A SCHEDULE OF FERTILIZING BOTH BACK AND FRONT. THEY ARE ALWAYS ON TIME AND COURTEOUS. AS A NEW HOME OWNER WITH NOT A LOT TO SPEND, I THINK THEY WERE SENSITIVE TO MY REQUESTS. I WAS NOT IMPRESSED WITH SOME OF THE ORIGINAL PLANTINGS -- THEY SWIFTLY REPLACED THEM WITH SOMETHING MORE SUBSTANTIVE AND CHARGED ME A BIT MORE. SO, NO NONSENSE, RELIABLE AND WHILE NOT CHEAP --- WORTH IT.

They started several week later than expected without any communication, and showed up unexpectedly. They were supposed to remove the large stones an paddio bricks, and reuse the large stones for a planed retaining wall, saving the bricks for a later use. All of these were buried along with branches and some railroad ties that were sticking out at the bottom of the hill. A tree is scarred from equipment and the grass (net) were carelessly laid. We called and the branches (sticking out) were removed from under the dirt, and blended into the landscape. The stones for the retaining wall were carelessly placed at both end of the wall, and many stones were undersized for a proper drainage. I called and communicated my dissatisfaction and an adjustment was given.

The project went very wwll. We met with the landscape architect and indicated our general ideas about the area. In less tha a week, we jad a detailed proposal including cost. We met again briefly with the architect and after a short discussion the proposal was finalized. A schedule was discussed and agreed upon. On time the work began and within two days it was completed.it looked great...

They did a good job, we are very pleased.

I did use them for many many years. I pay them for the whole season. They are by no means inexpensive, but they are very good. They are courteous. They are on time. If they have made a mistake they will correct it. You get what you pay for. I would use them again if the prices were right. The only reason I am not using them is because of pricing. If the other company can give me the same service for less money I would go to the company that asks for less money for the same service.

So far they're excellent. It's so far so good, they're very responsive, extremely knowledgeable about their business, good value for what they do. They're all excellent, whenever I call with a concern, they get back to me immediately and they address my concerns completely. I've got a year contract with them, I hope they won't start not showing up.

They came on schedule and performed the service we had paid for inadvance.

Called office, gentleman gave me quote over the phone that was less than other landscaper. 2 weeks later the crew showed up to remove the shrubs. They completed the job to our satisfaction left the the bed in front of the house very neat. We were happy with the level of service and the price, we would use them again.

They were amazing people.  The work began during a very hot and rainy spell and they were always prompt and never complained.  There were two gentleman who did all the work.  They did a wonderful job. The stumps were totally removed and hauled away, and the new tree was replanted.  They built a beautiful addition to a rock wall we already had and added a flagstone patio.  They graded the area very well and put in an underground drain.   They installed a very nice split rail fence and then lanscaped the whole area.  These two gentleman worked so very hard, and were always polite and made everything look beautiful.  I liked them so well, we are having them comeback to landscape another area and put in a underground sprinkler system.

The flagstone patio DeYoung's put in became brittle and the grout came out.  I called and informed them of the situation and the project manager came out to inspect the patio and informed me that it was THEIR fault, as the product used was new and wasn't up to their normal standards. He informed me that they would replace the patio grout by removing all the old, replace the flagstones and put in new grout at NO CHARGE. The job was completed within two weeks.  These people stand by their work and I am very pleased again with this company.

They charge us $350 for the whole season. We would use them again in the future.

The work was clearly explained, the estimate was competitive and provided in writing. Do ask for an estimated, which they seemed happy to provide. They appeared on time and did the work largely in one day, with finishing work completed the next morning. Do make sure to explain everything you want to the manager, so that he may inform the work crew, which is normally charged with running the site itself.

They've always worked quickly but also went out of their way to do a quality job without charging for the extra work.

We bought a house and we contracted them. Their service has been good. I would probably rate them as good but not great. I would use their services for the time being.
