Once home, my instinct told me to check the oil myself. The dip stick was dry!!! I didn't have time to return to denooyer so I went to the nearest Uncle Eds. They confirmed the dip stick was dry. It took two quarts of oil to fill, and I wasn't even due for an oil change. Denooyer hadn't even looked at the oil, or anything else, for all I know. I called the service manager. His response was that he would talk to the tech about it. And he told me the 2010 Equinox was known for burning oil! This car had only 47000 miles on it. He wanted me to return every 500 miles to have the oil topped off! These cars need to be recalled! I could have burned the engine out! What a piece of JUNK.......in addition to total negligence by Denooyer service dept.

I've always had a good experience. Christine, the mechanic that I primarily deal with, has been excellent. She's trustworthy and sometimes I ask her if my husband can fix a problem, since he has some background in mechanics. It's nice to go here and not feel like they're trying to rip me off!
