Child Care - Center
While this center doesn't have the highest certification (probably due
to staff changes), we have found it a welcome and caring place for our
children. Our children particularly loved Tonia. For younger kids they
send home regular reports on eating habits and overall mood. Since being
in the preschool, we've also gotten the older child's school work where
they cover letters, number, colors, and other topics. Our four yr old
came home talking about endangered animals or the seasons as an example of the kind of
things they cover. Additionally they regularly get the the kids outside
for walks and go to the nearby Winchell playground. The owner, Mary, is
responsive when asked for feedback and we've been able to meet with her
and other teachers to discuss our child's general aptitudes and class
work. I would say that if you looking for a rigorous
pre-kidergarten academic emphasis or specialized teaching for learning disabilities this is not the place. However, we
like the atmosphere combined with the very reasonable price and nice
staff that our children seem to enjoy.
