Jim was prompt, knowledgeable, and communicative, figured out a creative way to get circuit in without re-trenching a line from the house, and took care of all contacts with consumers energy, city permits, and inspection. First class work, neat and professional. Because of Consumers delay it took a few weeks longer than expected but Jim kept us informed and near the top of his job queue. Super job.

Jim arrived promptly, investigated my concerns of a noise and buzzing related to my refrigerator outlet, inspected and replaced 2 outlets. This was all done efficiently. He was very professional, thorough and informative. I will contact him in the future should I need further assistance.

It was already past normal working hours when I called. James Sieklucki of Beacon nonetheless was at my home within an hour and had the problem fixed within the next hour. He was polite, easy to talk with, and in all ways thoroughly professional.

This was our second time using Jim's services (within about a month's span) and we continued to be impressed. We had no idea that our brand new stove needed a different kind of outlet than we had available from the old appliance, so we called Jim for help and to our surprise he was available the very next morning to come and save the day. Our new stove is now working beautifully and it was all thanks to Jim's fast and professional help. Pricing was fair as always!

Jim did an awesome job! We have formica as a backsplash and we were worried that it would split/chip when cut into but there were no issues and everything looks great. He was on time, got the work done quickly, and was pleasant to work with. Prices were fair and out of all the quotes we got, he was the only one who actually gave us what we wanted without trying to upsell. We will definitely be hiring Jim again for future needs!

Great! My phone call was returned promptly. Couldn’t believe how quick Jim came. Within half an hour he came. He was very knowledgeable and allocated the problem. It was fixed in no time.

Jim is not only a friend of mine, but a real pro at electrical work! I most assuredly recommend him. He has done work for us before. If you want a real pro and a really nice contractor as well, I can't recommend Jim highly enough! He had my problem fixed within only a few minutes. He explained what I was doing wrong and corrected it for me.

Jim was amazing! He was a great communicator and returned my phone calls promptly when he said he would. He came out to our property and gave us a free estimate, and offered some suggestions for additional updating, if we wanted to do that work as well, but wasn't at all pushy about it. On the day of service, Jim called 10 minute prior to arrival, as I requested, and was there on time! He showed up with his employees and promptly got to work. Jim was respectful to our home, and belongings. His professionalism has blown me away, and we will certainly be using him again in the future!!

The job went fantastic

Quickly identified and fixed the problem and also taught me some ways to troubleshoot myself for future issues.

We were very happy with Jim and Beacon Electric. We finished our basement and had them do all the wiring and lighting. We had an idea of what we wanted, but Jim provided some great suggestions that we hadn't thought of on our own. We made a couple changes along the way and he was always easy to work with and happy to accommodate the changes. They showed up when scheduled on always left the area clean when done. I will definitely call them again for future electric work.

weather and scheduling resulted in work taking a bit longer. Price a bit higher than anticipated. Work was excellent, good quality, professional, will hire again and highly recommend.

I appreciated the fact that he returned calls promptly and did what he could to meet our needs. Contacted several people and got no response! Will absolutely call again.

He did a good job, was fast, and on time, but there was a few other things that I wanted from him but he's not responsive. I probably wouldn't use him again. I would give him a "B" because responsiveness is slow, but his price is good. I have to give him a "B" on quality because he did not label the fuse box that he installed. When he does schedule a time, he's pretty good  on punctuality.

Jim and crew were on time and easy to work with. We are extremely happy with the quality of the work. We have already talked to Jim about coming back to do the lighting in the kitchen.

Excellent Service!

James was very very timely and came at a moments notice.  He was professional, squeezed me in so that I didn't have to leave the breaker off and very professional.  All in all he was easy to work with and got the job done correctly.  I wouldn't hesitate to call him again should I be in need of an Electrician again!

Jim  came over, inspected the job I needed done, gave me a verbal estimate and told me when he could do the job which was about two weeks out. He told me he'd bring the needed parts. Jim was true to his word. He started my project when he said he would and worked with my work schedule. He finished the job in a timely manner and I am very pleased with the quality of work and his professionalism. His prices are very reasonable and his original estimate was accurate. I would not only call on Jim again, I now consider him my exclusive "gp-to" electrician. I recommend him without any hesitation.
