I dropped my car off at 8:30, and picked it up at 4:30 pm.  The owner, Duane, was very nice and gave me a lift home. The job specified was interior and exterior detailing.  When I arrived to pick up the car at 4:30 that afternoon, the exterior looked nice, but the interior finish had this professional vinyl conditioner (very greasy) all over the dash, door, trunk mat, consoles.  The specialist told me that he used the conditioner all the time, you just have to let it sit for 2 hours.  I've had my car detailed before, and never got it back all greasy, if they use conditioner that requires a curing time, then they should have applied it 2-3 hours before I was to pick it up so the stuff had dried.  I couldn't do any errands after I picked the car up, I had to get a rag to wipe the excess conditioner off so I could move my seat (lever was dripping).  I had to take it home and let it sit, and then wipe the excess off that night. For this I paid full market price - this service wasn't bargain priced.

It's obvious to me that the job wasn't started in time, and then they rushed it and expected me to finish the cleanup.  When I pick up a car, I expect it to be dry, non-greasy and ready to drive and use.  I will not be taking the car back to this business.
