Due to the past bad winter, they were back logged for our project. We knew this up front and this was not an emergency, so all went very well. All employees with Advantage from the sales rep right on through everybody we dealt with were great. No problems occurred during our project. The thing that really sold us on the job was their sales person, Shannon Brown who went up into the attic and took several before pictures and spent time showing us what needed to be done. As they say, "a picture is worth a thousand words," and this is right on, and they show us after pictures when the job was finished.
Talk about a super great cleanup, when they finished and picked up everything, a person couldn't tell that anything had been done except of course, the new roof, all around the house was as clean as a whistle.
Thanks Advantage Roofing and Exteriors for an excellent job.
"This winter was an exceptionally harsh winter and there was an extremely excessive amount of snow and ice on homes. When we were removing the snow and ice from homes it was a challenge just to get the snow and ice off the roofs let alone find places it could be pushed off the roof and not be in the way or cover up any number of items under the snow that was already there. When we Received the payment with what the homeowner felt was a reasonable amount to deduct, we were under the impression they were satisfied other than the $$ for the broken lights. Prior to making the payment the homeowner could have contacted us and discussed the matter if she would have like to have dialogue about the matter. Instead she took it upon herself to short pay the invoice and say she was happy other than the lights being damaged but the amount she was deducting would cover the damages. I felt that the matter was solved, there was an understanding on her part that it was not intentional and it was collateral damage. I apologize for not reaching out and confirming that which was already stated in her letter and giving her the additional customer service that would have kept her as a satisfied customer."
The crew arrived Saturday around 11:30 and got to work. They worked fairly quickly and knocked off the ice dams. After looking more closely at the house, I decided that I really needed to knock the ice dams off of the higher roof lines as well, but they didn't have their 30 foot ladder with them. They offered to come back on Monday with no trip charge, so I took them up on their offer. They came Monday morning and finished the job.
The crew was friendly and professional, and they got the work done quickly and well. I really appreciated the quick response to our need. I would definitely hire them again.
