Norm's Tire & Service Inc

I have purchased tires from Norm's for many years.  Norm sold the business a few years ago; I believe the following problem would not have happened if he were still the owner.
This fall when I researched and ordered winter tires from them I asked specifically for them to save my existing tires for me so I could run them next summer.  It was even written on the work order.  When the work was completed everything seemed fine as usual, until I looked for the tires in my trunk.  They were not there.  They had been thrown out by the mechanic and were already hauled away.  OK, everyone makes mistakes, however Norm's Tire was unwilling to provide any compensation for their error, and most annoying, they never returned a call, they never followed up on it, and finally they got their wish: I went away.  After 4 unanswered calls, I quit calling and will never work with them again, and can not recommend them to others.  This is hard to say after 20 years with a small local business I was happy to support.
They have also provided service for my vehicles from time to time, oil changes, brakes, and the like.  I quit going there a few years ago for service because it seemed a little haphazard and my steering wheel and door handle were always greasy when i picked up the car.  Minor things, I know, but annoying.
