We have been taking our pets to Jenison Animal Hospital for 7 years. Prior to Jenison we took them to Cascade based on referrals but when we moved to Jenison we asked a staff member at Cascade for a referral and she did not hesitate when referring us to Jenison Animal Hospital. She was correct.
1) Staff - The staff has always been professional, friendly and caring whether we were coming in for a regular appointment or for boarding. They know the animals and share what they may have witnessed during the stay so we can stay on top of our dog's care. In fact, the staff identified the first signs of a hind leg issue with our current pet.
2) Dr. Holt - He is an amazing vet. He is seasoned and confident with his handling of animals as a doctor and kind and considerate of the owners as a vet care provider. His years of experience are a benefit when it comes to an ailing animal because he can diagnose illnesses before the tests are even back. It has saved us both heart ache and money in the care of two dogs.
I will be forever grateful to Jenison Animal Hospital for their care of Buster and Rudy. We will miss them dearly.

I had said that I did not like how you could see the inside of his paw and how they were bleeding not even look inside they were open. It was gross so he said that the vet that did the dewclaw would look at him tomorrow. They had to put him on a antibiotic and some they had to stitch to keep closed and they glued the others. He was there for four more days.

He was very nice. They were very pleasant and accommodating. I would go back to them in the future.

I have been using them for about six years. Dr. Leon Holt is wonderful and very friendly. He knows animals quite well. I always specify that I have him. The office is really shabby looking and needs extreme make over. It does not impress you when you walk in. The staff is very reasonable compared to other vets. I have been using them for about six years.
