When I called Mr. Snip to find out who did the roofing, he was very angry, and quot;it wasn't his problem, he doesn't remember, don't call him againand quot;, actually I just wanted the roofer to come over and fix the leak, my husband ended up going up on the roof and patching the hole, which was due to the shingles not over-lapping and covering the roof underneath. All I wanted was the roofer's name.

When we made an offer on the house, we paid full price with the stipulation that the appliances be included and the lawn. Mr. Snip had his crew lay the sod, no black dirt was brought in to level out the yard, it was laid on the clay, very uneven and not level with the driveway, sidewalk and front walk, when it rained, it sunk, we had to completely re-do the front yard over and it's been a struggle to keep a nice yard, the clay is now showing in the back yard, the sod was not laid evenly, there were gaps between each piece, what a mess.

I don't understand how the countertops can come un-glued, it looks horrible.

I realize that Snips are well known in the Hudsonville area, however, we bought this house as our and quot;lastand quot; retirement residence, not moving again, hoping brand new would be carefree, it's wasn't. I wouldn't be so angry if Mr. Snip would have stepped up and handled the request for the roofers name politely, he did not, and now we have to decide to replace the countertops, this isn't how it was supposed to be, not to mention the foundation leak in the basement. We cannot finish the basement until that's repaired.

Attention to detail and common courtesy is huge in my book.
