It didn’t! Last spring (2021), we had Dean out for an estimate on painting our house. He honestly explained that he needed to complete jobs that had been put on hold because of Covid first. We had no problem with that, however it has been one excuse after another as to why he can’t do our job! “Had to redo a job because of a new employee, have a big job that the owners have decided on a different color (no mention of this job at the beginning), half my crew has quit”. He even said that he PROMISED that the job would be done by the end of August “I’ll even send you a letter promising this”. No letter, no painting done. I understand the issues that come with a small business but I don’t think that he ever intended to do the job. The bid on our house was a safety measure in case the Covid bids didn’t come thru. But they did and then the “big” job came along so he didn’t need our job. I am very disappointed. Chris

We got along great at first but, the first day had a crew that kept coming and going out of my house. Very inexperienced crew in which they missed multiple spots on my walls. When done kept noticing issues on the walls, second time the owner came to get paid I pointed this out that the prep work on the walls was very bad if any. The owner got very agitated and left when I refused to pay. Threatened to take me to court in which he did after I tried to resolve these issues through the BBB. In court he literally bullied me when it came to us negotiating, said I verbally abused him that is why he left my house. He also lied and said he put in "extra expenses" on my walls. His crew was at my house not even 35 hours. This situation really bothers me how he turned on me like this. I have to hire someone else to repair their work. According to ALL his websites, he seems like he has a great reputation. I have 57 plus pictures, and my son as a witness. The court Hudsonville 58th district sided with him even when I stated he was not being truthful. The full report is with the Better Business Bureau of West Michigan.

Bissell Painting Company did an excellent job of painting our condo. They were very easy to work with, moved our furniture out of the way and back into place. Came back after the carpet layers left and did some touch up, refinished a stair, painted our garage, were very punctual, and cheerful to work with. I would highly recommend them.
