 + -1 moreAfter 20-days had passed, a notice was sent out stating that the terms were "due upon receipt" and that payment had not yet been received. After 33 days had passed I personally stopped in to collect on the overdue invoice. The individual appeared amazed that I had not yet been paid and picked up the phone to place a call to his treasurer, but was unable to reach her on either phone (*though it sounded as if there was a voice at the other end of the first call*). He assured me that payment would be sent first thing on Monday and that he would give me a call when it was sent out. Today is Wednesday and no such call has been received.
Description of Work: This company was a customer with over a $1000 invoice that was due upon receipt. The company had written several checks by hand that day and had asked if he could have his treasurer put the check in the mail since he'd hand written so many checks already and he really doesn't like to do that. I agreed to allow him to send the check, thinking it would arrive within a business day or two, barring the upcoming weekend.
