It went very well. Work completed quickly and everything is working well. Discussed plumbing issues and explained process clearly. I will call them again.

I don't remember what the price was, but I remember it was pretty reasonable. They couldn't get to us for a couple of days and we really needed it. They were right on time. He was great.

I called Grimes Plumbing on the morning of Tuesday, March 31st and asked for service as soon as possible.  I was told a plumber would be over the next day between 12 and 4 as they had a tight schedule.  I inquired if there was any chance they could squeeze me in on Tuesday. Grimes went out of their way for me, and I got a call back saying someone would be here Tuesday afternoon.
The plumber checked multiple areas where the problem might lie, and finally pulled the toilet up and found the wax ring to be the culprit.  He was here for 1-1/2 hours.
Grimes plumber was polite and helpful in answering my questions.
I would call them again for any future plumbing problem.

Grimes Plumbing came out and replaced an outdoor faucet and pipe that leaked when we turned our outdoor water on. Even though they were delayed a little because of other jobs running over, I would recommend them to anyone. They also checked our hot water heater; and, gave us valuable advise for replacing the heater in the future. They were very efficient and thorough. I will definitely use them again.

We called Grimes because we had some water backing up into our basement. They came out and found the blockage but it was too big to break up. They think it may have been a tree root. The house is almost 100 years old, so it could have been any number of things! They rerouted the plumbing with new PVC pipe, which involved cutting into the drywall and rerouting the pipe from the utility room in the basement through the bonus room to the outside line. They did a really great job making as small a cut in the drywall as possible. They were able to reroute the pipe through a closet and behind the water heater so it's less visible. They cleaned up all of the mess. We were very pleased with the work and would definitely recommend them.

It went very well. I had originally called Liberty Plumbing, but the owner said he would be at my house

at 1:30pm but he never showed up. When I called him back several times, he wouldn't pick up his phone. Then

I called Grimes, The receptionist was very friendly, and got back to me as to when Mike would be out to do the work. Mike came

out and did a great job unclogging my toilet. In addition, he asked if there was anything else he could do since I was paying for

the hour. I told him yes, and he looked at my dish washer for me. Mike was very courteous, and friendly, I would recommend

Grimes to anyone who needs a plumber.

The fixtures were: bathtub in one bath and fixtures in the second bath shower. The project also necessitated cutting and installing an access panel in each bathroom. The tech-Cory was very professional and did a LOT to find fixtures that were acceptable to us due to the fact that our original Delta fixtures were outdated and were no longer manufactured!

The service man replaced the two shut off valves doing a very nice job. The shut off valves were about 30 years old and corroded. When I replaced two hoses to the washer I turned the valves to close off the water. When I turned them back on they started leaking water. I didn't want to damage anything so I called Grimes Plumbing to have them replace the corroded shut off valves. He also removed a water shower spout for me so I could get a replacement part for it. The man was very professional and it took him about 40 minutes. I would use Grime again for plumbing work.

This is my second experience with Grimes in the last several months, and as previous their professionalism was great. They came as promised, repaired and replaced and installed new toilet and softener. The work is good, the employees are very pleasant and handle themselves very professionally. They call you back, they coordinate with tenants and do what they promise. I would recommend Grimes to anyone looking for honest work done at a fair and reasonable price.

Grimes Plumbing came out and diagnosed a venting sewer smell in my downstairs bathroom. This has been a persistent problem since I moved into the home and a previous plumber was not able to (did not spend the time to) diagnose the real problem. I even had the township out to check on anything connected to the home as far as drain/sewer.

I first found Grimes here on Angie's List, and emailed them as it was after normal business hours. I received a response later that evening advising me to contact them first thing in the morning to schedule an appt. I called as soon as they opened and was setup with a 4-hour window the very same day, in the afternoon. I asked them to have the plumber call me at least 15 minutes before arrival so I could leave work instead of hanging around the house for up to 4 hours.

The plumber called me as instructed and was very pleasant. I met him at the house and discussed the problem. He took the time to listen to my problem and what had been done previously, all be it unsuccessful. He offered solutions and where to start, indicating it would be a process of elimination to diagnose and resolve. Once he pulled the toilet to replace the wax ring, he discovered the flange the toilet sat on was broken and most likely the problem causing the smell venting into the bathroom. He indicated he had all the equipment with him to fix the problem and gave me a rough estimate of what the repair would cost.

After I approved the repair, he worked efficiently to fix the problem. Once the repair was completed, he took the time to explain what was done, and gave me an opportunity to inspect what was done. I noticed an immediate change in the condition of the bathroom as it did not smell any longer. He left the area clean of any trash and debris.

I was very happy with the work done and would happily recommend Grimes Plumbing again to anyone.

They were wonderful. They called me back. They came the same day that I called him. They sent someone to give me an estimate. I don't live at the home that was having the work done so they rearranged the schedule so that they could meet me there at the exact time to let them in to do the work. They did excellent work and were reasonable. The quality of work was exceptional. I am very pleased with them.

I needed some tub fixtures replaced in my rental. Grimes was referred to me by my previous plumber who no longer has his own business. They were able to come promptly and were very friendly. They did not take off their shoes but I didn't mind because the house was unoccupied and empty at the time. If it was my residence I would expect they take off their shoes, use tarps, or booties. Anyways, I actually let them in the house and then had to leave. They were ok with me leaving my credit card number with the receptionist over the phone and finishing up the job. They could not fix the tub fixture that was broken and actually had to replace both knobs and the spout. They had to leave during the job, drive 10 miles (at least) into town to pick up knobs and a spout. Everything looks good now and most importantly works correctly! The company mailed me the invoice and receipt a few days later. They also phoned me regarding the total they would be charging my card. The price seemed reasonable. I would consider them again for this house and my primary as well.

Grimes plumbing did an outstanding job on my bathroom plumbing. They came out the same day I called stayed late in the day on Friday until the job was done. They were professional and did completed the job for a very reasonable price.I plan to call Grimes again other repairs and a dishwasher installation

They were great. I would assume their price was fair. I would use them again, and they are coming down again the next week.
