Era Reardon Realty

Appraisal Real Estate Service,

About us

Broker/Owner Rick Reardon has been in the Real Estate Business since 1991. He started out as an agent with Gail Reardon Realty, which was founded by his parents in 1987. In 2000, Rick purchased the business, joined ERA Franchise Systems, Inc., and ERA Reardon Realty was born. In 2009, two wonderful opportunities presented themselves. First, we purchased the Coldwell Banker Archway of Jackson & Irish Hills offices. We then acquired the agents from Century 21 Elite in Brooklynand took over the office space in FountainPlaza. These acquisitions have helped us become the largest Real Estate company in Jackson & Brooklyn. We have worked hard at having the most honest, ethical and well trained professionals in the business. By sticking to our family values and TEAM concept, we grew a very successful business. Since 2000, our team has grown to more than 40 great real estate agents, proving that ERA Reardon Realty is always growing, always evolving, and Always There for You®.

I recently purchased property, where Heather Dullock from Era Reardon Realty, was the listing agent. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing due to her unprofessionalism and unethical behavior. The sellers accepted our offer contingent upon the sale of one of our homes. When we needed an extension because our sale wouldn’t finalized quickly enough, Heather communicated to our realtor that there needed to be a new higher offer and it “needed to sting to make it worthwhile,” which was just one of her many unprofessional and inappropriate remarks. The most concerning issue arose when we secured the cash funds to close on time as per the purchase agreement. Despite this, Heather attempted to break the contract and demand more money for the property, claiming the delay caused by their title company justified the increase. This showed a clear lack of understanding of contractual laws and misled the sellers into believing they could demand additional payment, creating unnecessary stress for everyone involved. Ultimately, we were forced to involve our real estate attorney, who had to inform her that her actions constituted a breach of contract and could result in legal action. Only then was the situation resolved. Having completed over 15 real estate transactions in the last five years, with multiple realestate companies. I’ve never encountered someone as unprofessional and aggressive as Heather Dullock. Her behavior makes me wonder if a less experienced buyer or those without legal counsel would have been pressured into paying more illegally. Era Reaedon Realty should also be very cautious as if she would have continued in that direction we would have sued. Sellers and buyers both beware if you are dealing with her—you may need to stay watchful to protect your interests.

Yes, I recommend this pro
Michelle is absolutely a wonderful real estate agent.  She responds quickly and truly cares about her clients.  She has talked me through many nights of worrying about the loan process and has suggested many loan officers.  MIchelle is great at searching and suggesting homes that are in our price range and have the requirements that we asked for.  She is always very professional and polite and great at answering questions.  I would highly recommend Michelle Epperly at ERA.
